Where else but a Sci-Fi forum can you find a group of people thinking up applications for a process that isn't even defined totally yet?

After much deliberation, pacing and screaming at the computer, I've come up with more-or-less a working idea of an hydrogen fuel-cell based engine that'll fit in the engine bay of a humvee.
Basically, we're going to use a PEM, or proton exchange membrane fuel-cell. It works by running hydrogen gas through one set of channels, and oxygen gas through the other.
Due to my inabilty to track down the consumption of hydrogen per hour however, I was forced to assign an arbitrary number. To conclude, the engine will get approximately 200 miles for each gallon of liquid oxygen and hydrogen, plus an undetermined ammount of water.
PM me if you want more details.
