The Probie status is removed when the Mods see it fit. No one knows at what time, after what post numbers or how many greens it might take

It's a pain that it needs to be like this, but we all know that it had to be like this out of necessety due to heavy spamming

I don't see a real problem with i though; we know who's got the "Probie"-status in the RP and will just have to have that in mind when posting with someone with that status, sinct might take a little while for the post to actually being published on the site.

Hey! The fact that I've got "Probie" status yet doesn't mean that I'm still under moderation! Mods approved my account two weeks ago. I just haven't reached enough number of post for promotion. So I can send, receive PMs, like anyone else, I've got full access to forum and cp tools and my posts appear immediately.

There is some mystic combination of time on the forum, number of posts and phase of the moon for all I know before a new person is automatically removed from 'probie' status. It changes randomly as well.

Or, if the Mods deem a new person trustworthy, they can manually change the status sooner.

FYI - probie status was started after a vicious bout of porn spam on GW. I've been told that it was enough to make some folks wish they could scrub their minds with bleach. I'm soooooo happy I missed it.

You're right.

I'll have Andrews explain that...but they needed to stop by the armory anyway to get there gear/non-Earth weapons.
