Gen Blue have you been cleared by Sharp to become leader of the base? I would have thought that mantle would be passed to Sharp or an existing team member.

Anyway, for a long time now that biography posted has been out of date. Here is my official one:

Biography for Dr. Joseph Hanson, SG7 (Exploration)

Character Name: Dr. Joseph 'Seph' Hanson
    Character Age: 30
Character Rank: Civilian. Like his counterpart Daniel Jackson, he is a civilian who is working for the military, because of this he does not have a rank.
Character Position: SG7's linguist, symbologist, anthropologist and negotiator.
Weapon choice: An Elim (short for Eliminatoritechnol). A weapon which was given to him as a gift from a technologically advanced race he encountered on a mission. It has two settings: Stun and kill. It is as small as a berreta but packs more of a punch than a P90.
    Appearance: http://jimallanstudio.com/images/airbrush10.jpg
Personality: Being an accomplished academic Seph has little time for more 'stupid' people, his pet peeve is races IE. the Asgard calling him primitive. However he has more stengths than flaws. These include a good strong willed, a desire to overcome adversities and his willingness to help others.
History: Dr. Seph Hanson has degrees in symbology, ancient civillizations, political sciences, languages, and a PhD in anthropology (he is currently fluent in 11 languages including ancient and goa'uld). As soon as he finished attending Oxford university (he was a foriegn student, he was born and bred in New England) the USAF quickly absorbed him onto their pay roll and put him to use as a 'code cracker' and foriegn liason amongst various other related jobs. However he grew bored after years of this and handed in his resignation. Keen to keep him in on their pay roll, the air force offered him a job he could never refuse, SG team member. With the basic weapons training he had recieved while working with USAF in other countries (which conflict was happening around him, USAF had decided to give him basic training so he could defend himself) and the proved excellence in linguistics, anthropology, political sciences and ancient civillizations, Hanson was unluckly not to have been added to the SGC staff earlier on. He was on his first mission (however being still new he was merely on the mission because his expertise were needed, he was not yet enlisted into a SG team), routine recon, to a world that contained ancient ruins during the tradgedy on Earth. Now, after following protocol he has travelled to the alpha site. Recent tests have shown Dr. Hanson has the ancient gene in a fairly strong quantity. Dr Hanson lost his fiancee due to the tradegy on Earth.

Yes, I have. Sharp and I have been discussing it in PM's.

May I suggest that you edit your previous post on your biography? That way when someone finds the first one, it is the current one.

Possibly with a note at the beginning - "Revised <current date>"

      Just a thought.

I guess I should post my character's bio:

              BigGator5

              Name: Jason "Gator" Richardson
              Rank: Lieutenant Colonal
              Age: 45
              Position: SG-5 Commanding Officer
              Specialty: F-302 pilot
              Hair color: Dark, very short
              Eyes: Brown
              Nationality: USA
ATA gene: Yes (doesn't know it, yet)
              Appearance: (See Avatar)
History: Most of his career in the USAF is a classify manner and he's not willing to talk.

Richardson was one of the few F-302 pilots, not to be shot down over Antarctica during the battle with Anubis's forces. For being ruthless in the F-302, his co-workers gave him the nickname "Gator".

He later bounce around from assignment to assignment, until he was given temporary command over SG-5 while awaiting for the new F-302A research base (Codenamed: Foxtrot Base) to be completed. Unfortunately, the latest mission of SG-5 was going to be his last and he wasn't give the loaction of Foxtrot Base. Richardson's driving force is to find Foxtrot Base and the new F-302A, and to find out why they havn't contacted Alpha Base.

Here's my bio! Sorry, I'm hyper-creative, so it's sorta long.

Character Name: Kateira V. MacDoreign (Ka'te for short)
Nicknames: Balto (like the wolf/dog, she is of varied heritage, fierce, loyal, and highly tolerant of cold temps.)
                  Character Age: 28
                  Character Rank: 1st Lieutenant
                  Character Position: SG-5
Appearance: Short (5'1"), wiry,Tau'ri female. Long, dark brown hair. Brown eyes with glasses. Air Force tattoo on lower back.
Personality: Fiery. She doesn't second guess herself, which can present a problem when she's wrong, but she rarely is. Accepts authority grudgingly. Humorous & engaging around friends; withdrawn & evaluating around others, imposing & defensive around enemies. Very logical and driven, and doesn't wait for other people to do later what she can do now. She doesn't get really close to a lot of people, but is fiercely loyal and empathetic towards those she does befriend. She sees ignorance as the worst possible character quality.
History: Born 1976, in Minneapolis. Mother left shortly after, fed up with her workaholic father, who died when Ka'te was 9. She was sent to live with an uncle, the curator of a rare book collection. He instilled a love of language and literature in Ka'te, caring for her like his own son, Kasei(pronounced Casie). Her main interests became history and literature. Kasei joined Marines ROTC three years before Ka'te joined Air Force-ROTC because of his influence. She double-majored in history and engineering. Studied engineering mainly for military reasons. Studied historical warfare, literature, anthropology, and martial arts as "hobbies." She speaks Anglo-Saxon, Italian, Japanese, Ancient, Goa'uld, and Spanish fluently, has a decent grasp of Elvish, Latin, Russian, and German, and is working on teaching herself Gaelic, Phoenician, and Greek. She learns very fast. Her dedication and tactical knowledge helped her graduate as a 2nd Lieutenant, and after a brief assignment at Grand Forks AFB, was recommended to SGC because of her knowledge of other cultures, and promoted to 1st Lieutenant. Her primary job at SGC is to consult on inter-cultural relations.
Other facts: While trained to shoot standard issue guns and zats, she has taken Aikido and Judo, and carries a katana on many missions. She is agile and stealthy, with makes up for slightly low endurance. She drinks ridiculous amounts of Mountain Dew and green tea for caffeine. She spends what free time she can get reading, studying or training, and playing any mind games she can find. Strengths: intelligence, problem-solving, determination, loyalty, positive attitude, and commitment. Weaknesses: perfectionism, impatience, and a vehement hatred of improper grammar(it sometimes causes her to run her mouth in inappropriate situations). And British classical literature.

                      Name: Jen Stevens
                      Age: 31
                      Rank: Major
                      Position: SG5
Appearance: 5'4", closely groomed shoulder-length red hair and green eyes, with a petite build that makes her look deceptively delicate.

Personality: A maternal leadership style, Jen is irrepressibly drawn to picking people she sees as needing a chance or that she feels a debt to. In the air, she is difficult to command, on the ground, (nearly) perfectly obedient. She is stuck to the regulations, but relaxes them for the people directly under her after they earn their status with her. Underneath the tough bluster of a military leader, maternal banty hen defensiveness, and self-doubts though, is a lonely woman.

History: A baby girl was born in April 1975 to Private First Class Danev Patrowski and his wife Patricia. The baby was named Jennifer Anne Patrowski. Early on, Patricia had little interest in her daughter, causing young Jenny to develop into a tomboyish daddy's girl seeking the affection of at least one parent. Jenny was moved around the world by her father's long and distinguished Army career, resulting in a neutral accent with flavorings here and there of the places she's been. Every duty station, Jenny brought home every stray dog or cat, every injured bird and critter.

At 18, Jen (nobody but Dad was allowed to call her Jenny, and Jennifer was taboo to all and sundry) had two goals in life, to be a pilot and to work with animals. She couldn't do both at the same time, but found a compromise measure with the Air Force ROTC program at the University of California-Los Angeles, while studying a field biology degree. Then she got involved in drama electives and sweet-talked by a slick LA talent agent into nearly dropping out of college to pursue acting. First Sergeant Patrowski stepped in personally to keep her on the path to an Air Force commission. Jen graduated in the upper percentage of her college class and was pinned second lieutenant by her father, under a special exemption from the ROTC squadron commander.

With a master's and a commission under her belt, Jen headed for pilot training. This was where the young Second Lieutenant Patrowski first realized she had a bad tendency to argue with people a junior officer shouldn't. Like the lieutenant colonel training you. She managed to qualify on the F-15 despite it.

One of those people she argued with and shouldn't was Major Paul Stevens, a JAG defense attorney working for one of her airmen. Taken with the petite little redhead sticking up like a banty hen for one of her men, mostly the "petite" and "redhead" part, Paul brushed off their rank imbalance and asked for a date. They married about eight months later. The newlywed couple were soon separated by Lieutenant Patrowski's assignment to Osan Air Base, South Korea. Meanwhile, Paul went right back to the lifestyle he'd had before, with the only difference being removing his wedding band before picking up women at the bar. This would come down disastrously when one of those other women would tell his wife.

In the 51st, Lieutenant Stevens found she still couldn't keep herself from arguing when she shouldn't. Not many people get to see almost every flight of almost every squadron of their assigned wing. Then 9/11 happened, and the 51st grabbed the opportunity to shed Stevens and other trouble officers to the re-activated 455th Air Expeditionary Wing, Bagram Air Field, in support of the initial stages of Operation Enduring Freedom. Developed a deep antipathy for Major John Sheppard during OEF, considering him in desperate need of being tossed out of the military.

Then a routine helicopter trip changed everything. An RPG brought down the chopper, killing almost everyone aboard in the crash. Injured, Stevens struggled out alive and navigated with the mountains as landmark to get back to friendly territory on BAF. Seizing opportunity, the 455th wing commander got her re-assigned after her recuperation time, to Deep Space Radar Telemetry at Cheyenne Mountain.

Jen hit the biology texts for refresher, when assigned as a field biologist on SG-5 under USMC Major John Stim. After a year under Major Stim, Lieutenant Colonel Jason Richardson took charge of the team. Months later, SG-5 was captured by Nemesis, a vassal of Olympian Zeus. Taken with her red hair, Nemesis chose Jen as her victim. The last sight the team got of their teammate was ordering their execution with the other prisoners. Several months later, a rescue mission made her one of the few to be freed from the Goa'uld.

A routine mission to Langara, just before Earth was lost, was the only saving grace for SG-5. They came into Gaia to the bad news. Then Zeus attacked Gaia, Jen rused a surrender, but ended up losing her commanding officer and was put into the position by General Blue. Several missions later, one went very wrong due to one Jaffa rat. Now missing in action, the clock is ticking.

What do you say Col Sharp? We have no Head of Security. Or he could get SG-6 rolling again. White Knight, CKO and Rail'k are all looking for a team.

I like this idea. White Knight is a good guy and he would be great to be on an all Marine team. This is also perfect idea to get them all started on a SG team together.

I can be on SG-6. Just let me know when I can sign up.
