Mazz gets up and throws away his garbage away and heads to the Armory.

Steve sighed.. He didnt feel right..
"Yeah.."
He glanced at his Jello, before spooning some into his mouth.
"I just feel that I let the team down, even if you don't.."

[Major Henderson]

Donna looked down at her food "look... how did you let down the team huh, you couldn't have made it any differnet unless you went against my orders. Just forget about it ok?" Donna took some of her cereal pondering a question that she had been thinking about for a little while now even before the last mission.

"Tell me something. How do you feel about your place on this team? be honest" she grinned not sure if she should start this at this moment but she figured that now was as good as anytime.

Stephen sighed again, and looked down to the floor. He raised his head curiously when the Colonel asked the question.
"With all due respect ma'am.." he said sadly.. "Im not too sure I fit in with you guys.."

Donna looked up a little suprised "Realy?" she raised her eyebrows "Go on..." she gestured wanting him to explain why he felt like that.

Rachael walked in to find the mess hall busy as usually, No matter the time of day this place is always busy. She garbbed a tray and got what was for dinner, and took a seat to eat and think about everything, but mostly wondering if her brother and George were ok on there mission.

Donna looked up a little suprised "Realy?" she raised her eyebrows "Go on..." she gestured wanting him to explain why he felt like that.

Stephen shrugged and spooned the last mouthful of Jello before replying.
"Ive just got to know my team well before going out on missions. And SG-2 is a big team anyway, and I feel too much like the new guy... D'ya know what I mean?"

Donna smiled "You are the new guy" she chuckled "Well actually not anymore we do have a new team mate... a civilian". Picking up her juice and taking a drink she continued "You are part of the team don't forget that. It might have been a bit hard with two Captains and I know we had two Majors at one point. But we still consider you part of the team, part of the family" she smiled not really sure what else to say.

Rachael sat at the table not really eating just sort of poking at her food. Even though she knew that both her brother and George were experienced members of the SGC, she couldn't help but worry about the both of them.

She leaned back in her seat and let out a sigh. "I know I should not be worried but I can't help it. I have to stop thinking about this." She picked up her tray and put it away, grabbed a cup of coffee before she walked out the door looking at her watch it was already 1900 hours.

Stephen sighed and looked down to the floor.
"Yeah... It doesnt feel like it to me. I dont feel my place is with SG-2. I came here to check with the Alpha Site to see why the Beta Site couldnt establish contact with Earth.. They I got roped into joining a team. I like it here, but no offence intented and with all due respect.. I dont feel SG-2 is the team for me..."

"Wait roped into joining a team... I doubt they had to do much convincing, you know how many people were waiting to be placed on a team back on Earth" Donna smilled a little hurt that he didn't feel one of the team, not something a team commander wants to hear.

"I understand... I think" she sighed "Look I've been thinking about somethings talking to people for a while now. Your name came up. I can't promise anything but I'll see what I can do ok?" she knew she was being vague but she didn't want to say before it was confirmed "Trust me it'll work out".

The mess hall shakes, food spills and an explosion is heard in the distance.

The messhall started to shake and the glasses that were on the table fellover and off the table. Donna looked at Hanmer a little confused, she was still seated. Then she heard what sounded like an explosion followed by the base alarm. "What the H3ll!" she looked around the messhall food eveywhere. People wondering what was going on.

"Guess we better find out what that was. Captain, with me" Donna got up from her seat and made her way out of the messhall. Once out in the hall way everyone was evacuating the base she followed on taking the stairs.

The engineering team fanned out, flashing lights into every corner as they did a quick inspection. In short order, the men and women reported back to Holland and Ezekiel. "Good. I'll contact the general. You all start down to level 2."

** Holland to Blue. Level 1 looks OK. Some minor cracks but, they're shallow and mostly cosmetic. Power conduits are intact. So are water and gas lines. Send in the first salvage team. **

Rachael look around level two, than two of his team came up to here, "Dr. Ezekiel we saw something in science lab 1 that we thought you might want to check out."

"Alright, I'll be right there." She turned to Captain Holland and said, "I will be right back, I am going to check out something in the Science lab."
