well, it wasn't a ship on the list, but if we have Deep Space 9 we should probably have Babylon 5 on that side list. (since we have Farscape one and that wasn't on the list either was it?)

I think it shows how masculine science fiction is that the shows are named after objects......

This is just.... unbelievable..... cannot believe I'm posting this but:
RESULTS
Millenium Falcon - 10
Serenity - 10
Which means that this tourney ends in a TIE!
Millenium Falcon and Serenity finish JOINT FIRST
I don't think anyone saw this coming way back at the begining of the tourney, but both deserve to be up here. Sorry it's a bit of an anti-climax, but that's just how it goes sometimes
Thanks to everyone who's voted, it's been fun
For now, I'll see you over in the Greatest Death TournamentEquality is not a concept. It's not something we should be striving for. It's a necessity. Equality is like gravity. We need it to stand on this earth as men and women. And the misogyny that is in every culture is not a true part of the human condition. It is life out of balance, and that imbalance is sucking something out of the soul of every man and woman who is confronted with it.

This seems the best place to post this: If anyone is curious why Babylon 5's White Star ships arouse such fervor, there's a video on YouTube that is a good display of the physics of Babylon 5: Whitestar Music Video by Kenny (kengandalf). Strange choice of music (Loreena McKennitt), but it works.
Mm, I hadn't realized how much I missed those bot-cam perspectives.Last edited by Wordsmit2; 27 July 2007, 02:11 PM.Wordsmit2
The story of my life. I finally find a city like this, intact, deserted for ten thousand years, probably contains hundreds of patents that I can exploit--and I'm going to die. I can appreciate dramatic irony as much as the next person, but this is pushing it a bit. --Max Eilerson, Crusade "War Zone"
