No they werent counted because they were posted after I started to post the results, I went away and didnt refresh the page when I came back (which was dumb because it was over an hour *head/desk*), I thought I'd gotten them all though I will make sure to add them to the next count

It's a joke. My way of deflecting attention from my own obvious heroism. You'll get used to it.

I'll admit to being out of touch, but how is that heroic? I do hope we're not going to have another, "it's my favorite show so I'm voting for it no matter what the category is" tournament.......

                        Definition of "hero"

                        American Heritage Dictionary

                        1. In mythology and legend, a man, often of divine ancestry, who is endowed with great courage and strength, celebrated for his bold exploits, and favored by the gods.
                        2. A person noted for feats of courage or nobility of purpose, especially one who has risked or sacrificed his or her life: soldiers and nurses who were heroes in an unpopular war.
                        3. A person noted for special achievement in a particular field: the heroes of medicine.

Well, as I noted earlier, for my money Whedon writes great characters, but although his characters all have their heroic moments, they are not really what you might call heroes, simply because he makes heroism something that is within reach of everyone.

Spike's heroic nature, such as it is, is in the genuinely romantic mould of the quester; he is always seeking, always pushing to prove himself to his love. By the end, he's even mastered the quality of self-sacrifice. Nonetheless, there's always something tragically farcical about his existence, which is why that quote sums him up so well. It demonstrates Spike's quintessential traits of passionate devotion and honesty; he understands love and he understand himself.
