Kerr Avon is a character in the British sci fi series - Blake's Seven. I never got into this series, so I couldn't tell you much about his character.

I like the crew of BSG, as I do with the X Men, but I think the idea is to choose a hero “person”, not a hero “crew”, so I support it being voted out.

Geez she has to be one of the more genuine, if low key, heroes of the lot!!

I agree about Delenn. I think she is one of the most heroic and genuine people in all of Sci Fi. But she's not exactly hot and a little odd looking which is going to diminish her appeal to some voters. Among her heroic qualities are self sacrifice, faith in the face of danger and doubt, willingness to take on the pain and suffering of others (more than a little Mother Teresa there), willingness to go against the grain of public opinion and political convenience. She's not a fighting hero in the sense of personal fighting prowess, but an amazing organizer and inspiration to others.

I totally agree with you!!!
I believe that Delenn is a true hero, she put the needs of others before her own, she was brave, and did what had to be done in order to save the galaxy from the Shadows.

Avon was the Han Solo of Blake's 7, in that he was the amoral roguewho ended up being more popular than the idealistic hero. His truly heroic moments were few and far between, but I still rate him over a group.
