I was wondering if anyone knew what laptop's the Atlantis team uses. I believe it is a Lattitude series computer. The thing is, my laptop is so old and I thought it would be really cool to have the ones they use.

You can bet they're made by Dell (they have Product Placement deal with SG, show our laptops, and we'll let you have a ton of them, I'm guessing). I don't know, but they look like Insperon laptops.

I have a dell catalogue infront of me and from the back of the computers, I believe you are correct. Now if only we could find the model number....

They are Dell Inspirons!!!! 5100's

I should know ... i use own one ... use it everyday ... my own little bit of the stargate universe ... .... also handy to know i can hook mine up to an alien computer if needed

An alien computer? You might need Carter to rig an interface, her or Rodney. You know how picky that offworld tech is!

And yes, they are the 5100 series. I would buy one, but did you know, they wanted money? Apperently chips don't buy anything outside a casino.

You could create a world famous TV show, and get theme to give you loads of laptops to show on it, and then take one hme for yourself. That's how Stargate get all their branded neat gagetry.

I have no idea how they convinced HP that sticking their Pocket PC into an Atlantis white case as a life signs detector would advertise their product though.

They also have a load of NEC desktops in the meeting room, and they make no effort to hide the gigantic NEC logos on the back of the monitors

They also have/had some Dell Axim X30 PDAs mixed in with the HP 5555s. I think the HPs were Ancient devices and the Dells were devices teh team brought with them from Earth. There was also that handheld gaming/PDA... thingy that they use as teh control to the naquada generators. Someone here kept pointing it out.

NOOoOOO!!!! dont buy a dell. They rip you off heaps, they would have to be one of the worst places to buy a computer from. ARRGHGH!!!! Plenty of online shops that have deals 3 times better than dells. If you want an "Atlantis" computer, buy a good one and whack a sticker on it.
