All I can say is why the wig? Is longer hair supposed to make him look like a younger version of himself?

It didn't work all that well; just looked like the same guy in long hair to me. I think the eyes also looked different somehow, too. maybe contacts.
Maybe they didn't have the budget for a full makeup job.

IDK...but whatever the reason...it was bad. LOL. Overall, I liked the episode, and I'm glad Wally seems to be finding a home of his own.
