View Full Version : No one cares about the Martians?

A common theme in Supergirl is the threat that aliens from far away planets pose to Earth, yet we see little to no concern for the very nearby and real threat of Martians that should be very well-known by Earthlings in this Supergirl universe. They are super-powerful telepaths and shapeshifters and have been repeatedly shown to be hostile in almost every sense.

Why is this never addressed in the show?

Because the writing is not very good on this show. I'd say it's currently the weakest of the four (last year it was undeniably Arrow).

I have a pretty high tolerance but I abandoned the show due to the plot directions it decided to take in season 2. I'll pick it back up again before October but I'm in no hurry.

It's a bit laughable I know - especially when you consider there's now an entire civilisation living on Titan (Imra?); I assume when they say Titan, they are indeed referring to the moon orbiting Jupiter.
