I'm really glad to see that Netflix is creating many original series scifi shows and also continuing other franchises "Star trek" and they also have Travellers on there library. The reason I say this is because living in Australia we have a major piracy issues not because people want to pirate and not support a series but because back when stargate use to be on for example it was next to impossible to get it same time USA did without paying extremely high fees on Foxtel. So the only way back then for many to support a series was to buy the dvd's.
With netflix now I can buy subscription support the series, and still buy the dvd's as well. With so many scifi shows being cancelled in the past maybe that's all about to change with quality streaming services.
