Michelle McNamara, a crime writer and wife of Patton Oswalt (Billy Koenig/Sam Koenig/Eric Koenig on "Agents of SHIELD") has passed away. She was 46. Besides her husband, McNamara is survived by their 7-year-old daughter Alice.
Oswalt's publicist, Kevin McLaughlin, said Friday that McNamara died in her sleep Thursday (April 21, 2016). No cause was given.
