We see in Winter soldier after nick's supposed death, that nick secretly visits his grave site, and on the grave stone is the phrase "Path of the righteous man", which happens to be the same quote Sam uses in Pulp fiction as the character Jules..
Well cause of that link, the author of that article thinks that right at the end of pulp fiction when Jules talks about going straight, he DID, by changing his name to Nick Fury and joining Shield..
