    Garry Chalk to guest star in Season Nine?

    Received an e-mail message from a fan who attended the recent Wolf SG9 convention in England and:

    From the SG9 convention run by Wolf Events in England (near Heathrow)
    last weekend: Garry Chalk confirmed on the Saturday that he had been asked to return to SG1 as Colonel Chekov during Season Nine and that he had been told he would be more involved in the running of the SGC ...

    I like Colonel Chekov.

    It'll be fun seeing him again and from the sounds of it more.

    Russians have the coolest accents.

      His character has enough influence, so that's not too surprising.
      But by his own words, dang thats enough to confirm it.
      Can't wait to see what he may affect soon.

        cool he's one of my favorite earth characters (well outside of the SGC anyway )

        ...now just waiting to hear a similar comment from colin cunningham...

            I'd love to see him as a re-accurring character. The Russians need more involvement in the SGC. Perhaps Chekov could be General Landry's 2IC!

              That's good news. He was in some interesting episodes. Will they ever bring back Marina Sirtis? This seems like another opportunity.

                  That's good. Chekov is an interestingly complex character.
                  Causality should not be taken lightly.

                    Chekov is great. I missed not having him in Season 7, and he's appearence in Season 8 was very good, and quite extended (although he had far to many 'contacts' everywhere in Russia - he's like his own Spy Network!). Anyway, I really do hope he has a bigger role in Season 9. He's someone good to have around.
