Fantastic Four have come home to Marvel ... or not

Sounds like Marvel finally has the rights to the F4 again, and that one of the "unannounced" 2020 films might be their first entry into the MCU.

Says the opposite on that site....

    UPDATE:

Since our original story about the possibility of Marvel having re-acquired the rights to Fantastic Four, we've been contacted by 20th Century Fox. It states that our source's suggestion that Fox had reached some kind of deal with Marvel is "completely untrue."

A denial has also come from Marvel.

Yup, seems like. It hadn't been refuted when I made the thread.

Probably not any time soon since they're making money.

X-Men are a large enough universe that they are fine on their own. Besides, how would they even introduce them at this point?

However, Marvel Television is assisting Fox develop not one but TWO mutant-based TV shows. I'd really like to know why, and what Marvel is getting out of it since they have no reason to help

True, the Xmovies do make money.. though most film fans seem to have panned X2 and 3, and are not really in with first class..

Erm...X2 is one of the best liked films of all the X0Men films, and the First Class series is widely felt to have rescued the film franchise after the disaster that was X3.
