More on the actual episode later but did anyone else notice the guy in the bomber jacket with the name tag that read "Jordan" while Ollie was talking with Waller in the bar?

"Felicity Smoak, you have failed this omelette."

That may be the best line in the history of Arrow, especially taking into account the bin full of omelettes. :p

The Felicity and Oliver moments did kinda make the episode. :P

All in all I didn't get a good vibe from this ep though. I mean it was awesome but there was something a bit off about it. I think it's possibly that despite now being happy it now seems that Oliver is more on his own than ever except for Felicity. And I thought Diggle calling him a monster was a totally low blow. I do like Damian Darhk though. He just oozes menace and threat. Even more than Ra's. He's on the same level as Slade.

Oh man, the omleette line got me...

As for Detective Lance...

Wonder whos grave that was at the end?

I'm betting it's not Felicity's like it appears. I'm betting Diggle's.

IMO that whole intro scene with them doing the 'family life' MADE this episode..
And that comment made it all worthy of the wait!

Diggle i think is still Steaming like crazy for what Oli did and will take a long time to come around, unlike all the others..
And i LOVE the actor they got for Damian dark.. Great pic!

I doubt Oli would have teared up like he did if it was just Diggle.. I am dreading thinking it WAS felicity..

And lance being a traitor. Never saw that coming.

Would Barry go to Diggles funeral?

Would Barry go to Diggles funeral?

Why would'n't he? He knows Diggle, plus I got the sense that in the scene he was there as much for Olliver's benefit than anything else.

I hope it is Diggile. He is my least favorite character

You know it's sort of fascinating to me just how much Arrow and the Arrowverse has made a complete 180 from where they began when it comes to "comic book-iness," not only with making him the Green Arrow, but adding in all the quirkiness plots and powers and characters that go into comic books.

Thinking it some more, it might also be Laural or Speedy..

Looking forward to finding out! Could all be a massive plot twist though...

I agree. It's a hell of a way to soft sell a concept. First there was slade that introduced the idea of powered up humans and then following on from that you get Meta Humans, and then you have the mysticism behind Ra's and the Lazarus pit which then leads into the more overtly mystical powers introduced now...

True, but those things have been slowly introduced..

Noticed the name tag Jordan on the flight jacket in the flashback like the hints to other parts of the universe without being really obvious. Speedy being on the team just seems strange maybe because I just don't like her as a character. The funeral at the end is Diggle's I think.

Flight jacket? When was that?

The flash back at the bar right before Waller drugged him. OK so maybe it is actually a bomber jacker. 41085

Solid Premier, while I didn't hate s3 like most people seem to, I did think this episode was much better so far

I do think he has a point. I found S3 Arrows the weakest of seasons. Its still preferable to other shows Its unfair to judge S4 at this time.

I agree. It was somewhat weaker than S1 and 2 (1 especially), but i still love them all!

As do I...this season feels more fresh and invigorating.

I'm one of those people who didn't really like season 3, at times I felt like I was forcing myself to watch the show just because my son was watching it, and he wanted to talk about things that happened during the episodes. I liked certain parts of it, but overall, it left me not looking forward to this season as much as I've looked forward to the previous ones.

I thought this episode was pretty good, I wasn't a fan of the Oliver/Felicity parts (I really grew to hate that pairing during last season). Damien Darhk seems interesting. Lance working for him seems like it could be interesting too. I'm going to guess that it's either Lance or Diggle in the grave (leaning towards Diggle), and that Barry was mainly there for Oliver (and to get everyone thinking that it's Felicity grave, but I doubt they'd kill Felicity).

A little too early to decide that for me. We are only one episode in.

So have I, but not many people liked season 3 is all im saying, I likened it more in quality to that of season 1, not season 2 which was amazing

Early days yet to be judging the quality of s4

I liked it better than s1 :) Season 2 is still my favourite, but your right the show itself is alot better than a lot of other shows out there
