    brainstorm-1983

this movie came on a couple of nights ago and it was a blast from the past, in a way it was funny too, they supposedly made a quantum leap in technology with 1983 computers, you have pay phones and almost no computer security., that is just the background stuff, the main story is just as good now as it was then, I just love it, here is the trailer, it is all I could find.

I've seen it several times but it was a long time ago. I didn't click any of those links since it seemed they were all just movie clips, but there are probably other sites that have some information about how Trumbull wanted to revolutionize the filming and projection process, with the scenes within the 'brainstorm' filmed at 60 frames per second rather than the usual 24. What he wanted to do was essentially the precursor to IMAX.

you know that would explain the opening graphics, they seemed brighter and more vibrant than the rest of the movie.
