Hyperion as event series in syfy

The first book of D.Simmons Hyperion will be adapted as an event series by syfy

Hyperion is one of my favourite sci fi books but i think it is a little difficult to be adapted for tv (especially the first book). But we'llsee. For the moment i think is good news.

I enjoyed the book so I´m hoping they manage to do it justice.

This book definitely works better as a TV series than a movie, there's just no way to do it justice in 2-3 hours.
