Great episode. Had me completely invested. Not sure about Slade's plan. Easily could have used another person to be the face of the kidnapper.

So glad, Thea did notify police who took her instead of just coming out and being angry at Ollie.

Ollie only knew her secret for a few weeks/months. So he wasn't lying to her for "years" as she put it.

About time they got rid of Roy, I like him. But the whole "anger issue" was getting old real fast.

Did anyone else notice the "DC" on Slade's costume?

that episode was awesome

Ok so can we get Malcolm & Slade team up now? that would be cool or maybe Malcolm vs Slade?

Slade kidnapped Malcolm's daughter. I don't think a team up is in the works.

Kidnapped, did not hurt her it seems.

I was shocked when it was revealed that "That" was the big secret, slade told her.. rather than that her bro is the arrow.. And also surprised she never got peeved at Mom, since it was HER who initialy kept it from both oli AND thea.. Unless Slade didn't tell her that snippet.

Is he gone for good?

I am wondering if that might set up a "return by malcolm"? After all he is big on family!

And we add yet another person to the "Knows Oli is the arrow" list (laural)..

Oliver is really bad at keeping secrets  l

Well lets see.
Diggle found out on his own.
He had to tell Roy to get him to calm the F down.
He had to tell Felicity after mom shot him.
Sarah iirc already knew (or suspected).
Laural is the only one he didn't tell who now knows.

let's not forget Helena, Slade Wilson, Count Vertigo, Malolm Meryln, Tommy Meryln and i think Detective Lance might atleast suspect Oliver is The Arrow

OH and ARGUS seems to know The ARROW's identity aswell as Amanda Waller indicated a couple of episodes ago that she knew Oliver was The ARROW

How did Slade even know that Malcolm was Thea's biological father?

probably been keeping a close eye (sorry bad pun) on Oliver, Or Oliver's conversations about Thea may have been bugged

Oh, right. Didn't he plant bugs in their house during his tour there? I thought Oliver and his mother had discussed Thea's paternity before that (and not since), though.

Maybe he had other bugs there from earlier (or had tapped their phones.)

I think Slade and Malcolm probably know each other. I thought, had the kidnapping been a real attempt to keep Thea, that maybe Malcolm might be the one to show up to face Slade and save her. At least that is what I hoped would happen. :) But as the episode progressed I started to build the theory that they might know each other.

I loved the episode, except for the part where Rochev double crossed Oliver. It was WAY too obvious when Oliver wrote out the note and signed it that she would do what she did. Everything else was great. And it was so great to see Ivo and Anatoly back. And I thought it was a pretty okay episode for Diggle and I thought Quentin got some good screen time. It was definitely a good episode for Felicity as well. My point is that it was a good episode all around.

I wonder how long they are going to allow her 'messed up' take over of queen consolidated to stand.

Well, I for one, would like to see it be a issue that doesn't get resolved until next season. Some consequences have to last longer than others.

Oliver has a cheek to talk about anyone else keeping secrets. He's as bad as the others who have been keeping secrets. The only one it seems who can be trusted to not keep secrets is Thea. Who would have thought. I'm surprised she doesn't have major trust issues. As for Slade, they know he is dangerous and out to cause major trouble for Oliver but the ease at which he can get to anyone Oliver cares about is disturbing.

So glad Felicity is well over her crush for Oliver. She deserves so much better than him. He's a rich selfish frat playboy who can't keep it in his pants when a pretty face takes his fancy.

So now Laurel knows, seriously, why doesn't he just put out an ad in the paper so everyone knows who he is? It's not much of a secret identity if everyone knows

I think everyone has secrets. Its human nature to keep some information to yourself. I understand this isn't the same as the secret identity of the Arrow or Black Canary but I do think everyone has secrets.

I think that is the old Oliver. That doesn't seem to describe him after the Island. Especially after the finale. I won't say anything in case you haven't seen it.

Yeah everyone has secrets but the way he's acting it's like the pot calling the kettle black. Like mother, like son. Does he think he's the only one that's allowed to keep secret's? He needs to get over himself :p I see this Oliver as selfish and Arrow arrogant.

No I haven't seen it yet, have them taped. Getting through them though. Should be caught up in next couple of days.

I feel that he isn't arrogant, he just takes them very personal because well most of the time they are.

Plus, him keeping secret his night-time activities which only endanger him and any citizen or criminal he runs into is very different from keeping family history or plans to cause an earthquake.

I admit, though he is keeping secrets like knowledge that he knew Roy's injection of a dangerous drug. So he isn't untouchable.

I also think the show does a very bad job at showing us why he gets so attracted/attached to women quickly. He did it in his playboy days and now with Huntress, Laurel, Isabel, and now Sara.

I admit they keep stating that he truly loves Laurel, but that isn't stopping him from being with Sara or seemingly keeping things ambiguous with Felicity.

As a guy, that just does not ring true to me.
