I was wondering if anyone had any interest in the minor Tok'ra/Goa'uld characters. For instance, if Kanan survived, it would be interesting to include him somehow in a future plot involving Jack O'Neill.

I like how SG1 developed so many characters (especially when compared to the other Stargate shows), but the characters that were never developed could have potential.
Kanan worked undercover as a minor Goa'uld in Ba'al's service on a planet where Ba'al was testing weapons technology and gravity field generators. For months he mapped out the facility and cataloged it's defensive capabilities. He started an affair with Shallan, the Lo'taur of Ba'al in order to gain access to Ba'al's quarters. His mission complete he returned to the Tok'ra. Some time later he started to serve as an operative in Zipacna's fleet and managed to escape when the ship he was on was in battle with Yu, however he was mortally injured. Unable to pass on the information he had obtained and needing a new host, Kanan was blended with Jack O'Neill, in order to save O'Neill. (SG1: "Abyss", "Frozen")
Upon blending with O'Neill, Kanan was confronted with every thought and belief that makes O'Neill who he is and was unable to deal with the fact that Shallan had been left behind. As the Tok'ra searched for another host for Kanan, he took full control and walked out of the Tok'ra base, making his way back to the planet. He managed to get to Shallan and the two escaped, but he was shot in the back as they headed to the Stargate and Kanan left O'Neill's body and slinked away. He more than likely died without a host. (SG1: "Nightwalkers", "Abyss")
