    "The Clone Wars" timeline, revised

So it seems Leland Chee, keeper of the continuity Holocron for Lucas Licensing, has finally set about laying out the chronology of TCW in a series of entries on the official Star Wars blog. It's not done yet -- it looks like he's doing a new entry about every two weeks -- so I'll be editing this to reflect the new information when it comes.

At the moment, the official, canon chronology of The Clone Wars runs thus:

It's nice to start getting some sort of official chronology on this. It's going to be interesting seeing how much it matches to the on-screen chronology thread.

This is nice to see. Glad you posted it here. If and when I decide to marathon everything Star Wars, I will take this into consideration.

Do you agree with this timeline so far? It seems some people believe the Droids duology should come sooner.

I would've thought before the Malevolence story personally, but this is coming down from Chee so this is the official chronology according to Lucas Licensing

(wait'll you see where the Kadavo arc is placed )

No update yet, but I've added the production order of the series in a spoiler tag. I find it an interesting curiosity to see how the production order differs from the aired order.

Why are they milking this? Also is there any knowledge about the upcoming seasons? Such as how many more and are they going to be fillers or more chronologically in order?

Disappointingly obvious update after a 2 month break. Hopefully upcoming updates are both faster and more enlightening.

                        Entry #7 was published today

Note that it contains a puzzling choice of placement of episode 2.17. In 2.17, the Republic is puzzled by the loss of one of their facilities at Felucia. Whereas, in the Holocron arc (2.01-03) the Separatists have already taken over Felucia. It's suspected that this placement is an error, but until and unless it's corrected, it remains the canonical episode order.

Earlier this week, Chee replied in the comments thread of 'Chronicling The Clone Wars #7' to the apparent discrepancy regarding Felucia:

We consider Felucia to be a major hot spot in the war and thus control of the planet is changing constantly. As such, we do not consider the planet’s state in any given episode in determining the episode timeline order. Also, unless explicitly stated, I wouldn’t infer how much time elapses in between story arcs.

Nice to know they are putting all of this in chronological order. I wonder what Clone Wars novels/comic books will be canon though once the series has ended since the series has contradicted alot of written material.
1 “Let not your heart be troubled; you believe in God, believe also in Me. 2 In My Father’s house are many mansions; if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. 3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself; that where I am, there you may be also. 4 And where I go you know, and the way you know.”
5 Thomas said to Him, “Lord, we do not know where You are going, and how can we know the way?”
6 Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.
