damn you syfy and your split seasons! What a great episode! I wonder how they will resolve all of this. Perhaps HG will use the astrolabe again, changing her back into a villain?

Well I'm starting to wonder if this is a true split season (like Eureka) or if they are just doing this as a midseason. I hope it's the latter, because that will mean only one DVD to buy :S

I'm sure if skiffy can milk the money by charging you twice, they will. One reason I gave up buying their dvd's. money grubbing tactics turn me off.

Evil Artie has quite a mean streak to him! And Claudia did end up stabbing him   And a pluage was released    Okay, I really am/was not that shocked, but still. It was an awesome way to leave us hanging on a cliff.

I'm curious about the whole Leena ghost thing...part of me wants her to stay dead because constantly bringing back the dead can ruin the whole death thing. It would be like watching stargate....Oh what's that? They're going to kill Daniel? Oh well, he'll be back.

I hope that by " Returning in 2013" they mean in the winter or early spring >.>

I'm thinking what they use to reverse the plague will reverse Leena's death.

That's a long shot. If they were strongly related things, perhaps. Like reviving everyone that died within that time span, but other than that, I don't see how that could happen.

Glad I am not going to have to wait seven months because I am done with it. This show has gutted the only character I liked. Artie without Leena? Really? I guess Trailer the dog will have to start running the B&B. That was the most senseless death I have ever seen of a TV character I knew she wasn't popular and it was a matter of time before they got rid of pesty Leena but seriously? This used to be a family show now what are they calling it? Killing Leena and leave her dead on the floor and thats it? They walk away and leave her? Cant help but wonder if had been Claudia what the reaction would have been?

Warehouse13 I hope you tank without Leena. Goodbye. You just alienated half the fan base.

Keep your annoying Claudia. Talk about useless.

I give it until July before it hits the chopping block have fun with the long wait.

I think it's April as well.

What a cliffhanger!!!!!!!!

Claudia stabbing Artie brought him back just in time for the unleashing of a plague.

Supposedly Anne Boleyn survived the English Sweating Sickness, so maybe there is an artifact associated with her that will reverse the orchid's effects.

Okay, this was one hell of a Episode. I loved it alot and it was cool how the vision from the beginning came true. I really hope that they will be able to undo this, but speaking of it there is only one way so far we have been introduced to that works.

Someone has to use the Astrolabe again and if it is soon enough it could even save Leena, but whoever does it will have to be bronzed. I keep thinking that it will be HG taking the hit. After all the writers just let her pop up when they need her. It would not be that big of a loss considering how she had almost no time on air the first half of the Season.

Dont get me wrong, I like her character alot, but someone will have to die and I prefer her before any of the others.

I loved the look on Data's face when Mrs F mentioned HG Wells, and I loved the bit when he said "I want my astrolabe back", even though he is not the evil Data Artie's been seeing, he's still scary.

bit anti catholic "We are protected by the vatican not ruled by it" but meh :P

Evil Artie, the way he tore down the team *chills*

I think killing Leena was a good move. I liked her, but it meant that you instantly knew Artie wasnt himself anymore. It added weight to him going bad.

I could also see HG using the astrolabe, but I'd rather a different resolution and not a repeat of the first episode.

Well, at first I was not happy either about how Jinks jumped at that topic. I get where he is coming from, but I am not sure what statement the writers tried to make. Jinks being upset with the Vatican for obvious reasons and then everyone avoids the topic.

I really hope they don't pull that. If they do I either might not buy (just make do with my antiquated vhs) or wait for the price to drop or get a used one.

That could be an interesting way to solve that problem without using the astrolabe.

I'd rather they not bronze HG again. I like the character even though she just "pops up" occasionally. But I can see what you mean as her being a possibility.

So is Artie rid of the evil and back to his old self after Claudia using the dagger? It seemed to me he is but is that right?

Why did the Sweating Sickness travel across the world so fast? The phenomenon was only recorded in Britain at first, then Europe next. How could it travel to London and Paris in what seemed like an instant?

This show needs to do one thing and get an early cancellation like all the other syfy shows. Artie shoots Leena dead for no reason other than to satisfy the masses that dont like the character so Jack Kenny can shove in more annoying Claudia. I hope it tanks in the ratings for being gone so long that it gets cancelled. Outside of that this has got to be the dumbest cliffhanger yet if they were smart they would have used Leena dead on the floor for their cliffhanger.

A sweating sickness, really? That the best they can come up with? That is gross. Wanna tell me how this is a family show again? Showing Leena dead and leaving her there to rot like a corpse alone while they dash off across the globe to find Artie is for family viewing? Kidding me?

Artie can die and come back a million times but not Leena. I hope she comes back as ghost Leena just to pester Artie.

These writer's need to stop using Wiki so much. Its frying their brain.

Same old, same old.

I know one thing, by next season they wont have anymore regular characters they can kill off thats all they seem to know how to do every week.

Please syfy put this show out of its misery and soon.

DSG1
October 9th, 2012, 11:23 AM
and they wont turn back time again I wish people would stop with that. Genelle Williams is officially off the show according to Jack Kenny in order to reset time, Pete, HG, Claudia and Steve would all be dead again and they ARE NOT going to do that, they can't if Leena is alive in the other timeline. This whole plot was stupid from the get go and made no sense except for them to fill ten episodes of story filler.

these writer's prove one thing, they cant handle a long season. they fail at it. all they do is rehash and rehash and rehash.

To resume its previous path as before? That is, since it already infected Europe in the past, it will start where it left off, so to speak.

WH13 will resume in April. If so, there are only 10 more episodes, and that will take us to early June at the latest. Where Season 5 may start in late July or sometime in August? I hate to be a party-pooper, but has anyone noticed that SyFy is following the same pattern of having the same massive mid-season breaks that helped to hasten the demise of SGA and SGU?

Starting in April also means that it will be going up against shows in the middle of their second-halves, with shows like NBC's Revolution (which will end it's 1st half at the end of November) having started in late January or sometime in February (March at the latest). Not to mention that the start of the season will start to go up against Monday Night Football. I love my WH13, but if it is WH13 vs my Packers, the Packers win by a longshot.

By doing this, SyFy is starting to compete against big-time drama in major timeslots, something it never had to do when it was mostly contained to the summer months. I get the really bad feeling that SyFy is attempting to kill of Warehouse 13, especially since it is pitting shows against it's sister network, NBC, which will get more ratings period, due to the fact that NBC is broadcast OTA vs SyFy's cable/dish only.

Primetime TV doesn't work that way. It doesn't spilit up into halves like cable TV does. Its all about airing during sweep periods. In addition I'm sorry but its unavoidable that cable networks are going to compete against the networks. Its not possible for a cable channel to not go against primetime TV. SyFy has been competiting against NBC for years. It makes no business sense to want a show to fail. Why pump money into a project you want to fail? It defies rational thinking

Well the flower thing wasn't exactly predictable...though I did predict that Claudia wasn't the evil one. I didn't catch the whole "Adrian ins't real....realish" thing until the brotherhood was being extracted from the picture. But in my opinion, I loved the plague...I mean not that people will experience horrible deaths, plagues story lines seem to catch my attention somehow.

well I still watch it and it's ok :P Just not one of my fav shows ATM. I'm afraid they'll try to revive Leena. Jinks was borderline iffy as well as HG....she's like that cat in that Canadian song, she just won't stay away. They really need to avoid the Daniel Jackson "I can't stay dead" thingy. Ghost Leena can be interesting...

Can't wait to see how they will deal with the sickness! I doubt they will be using the astrolabe again, though. They'll probably manage to counter the effects of the plague with a powerful healing artifact and end this storyline quickly. I think the Anne Boleyn thing is intriguing, but maybe they will go with something bigger, like Aaron's Rod?

I was saddened by Leena's death, but I think the story demanded that something very wrong happened. I don't understand the complaint about the "family" factor though; when we were shown Steve's dead body with his broken neck, did people react this much?

Also, I hope H.G. will remain a "pop-up" possibility, or even a recurrent character. I think she's funny and witty (and well, charming, of course), and the episodes she stars in are my favorites ("3...2...1..." was so great!).

Completly agree. Maybe the writers will go a step further, the Team always deactivated the Artifacts, now is a good chance to find out what the last Warehouse Agents did to convert the Sickness into a Flower and do it again.

A primetime show competing with a cable show is not even relevent to when W13 returns. I do not seem the lack of sense. Cable shows don't operate in sweep weeks and have a completely different business model than primetime TV. Unless you want all SyFy's programs to air in the summer its unavoidable to compete with primetime TV And you sweep dates are off by about a week.
