Australia Stargate Magazine Collection

OMG! I just saw an ad while watching the news for a magazine/dvd collection series that comes with DVDs of the episodes and a magazine with information about the series, it looks pretty cool.

The first issue is $9.95 and issues after that are $19.95 each.

It's just one of those collection sets that you get from a newsagent that lasts a long time. I think they said you collect the first five seasons, so, presumably they use the DVDs from the box sets there would be 25 issues. It becomes quite expensive but would be well worth it for the hardcore fans.

There was a web address associated with the ad but I can't remember it now when I see the ad again i'll post the address, I saw the ad on Seven and chances are you'll only see it there since they are the only channel that runs Stargate.

I think they start immediately, these things are normally a fortnightly thing so chances are they are available now.

They have been out for ages. (at least in Perth, but I don't see how something can come out in Perth before East). I got Issue 1 for christmas. Not getting anymore since I already have the episodes on DVD.

We've got this here in Germany too... even translated! Haven't bought it but some friends got the first issue and liked it very much.

It could be decent if you don't have the DVDs, but there's nothing in the magazine most likely that you wouldn't be able to read on GateWorld.
