Cathain - I'll get back to ya on the piccy...RL's been a pain in the...finger.

Well...long story short...met old friend...went to pub...trapped finger in car door...now have broken little finger *wails in pain*

No problem Sue! I know how that can be actually - I severed a finger a few years back - they managed to reattach it but there's no nerve in the tip, making typing a hassle sometimes too.

And on the AT subject - I don't watch SG-1 or SGA for the ship, I watch them because they are fantastic shows that are well written and tell imaginative and 'real' stories while creating a mythology all their own. I think every actor that comes through the series is terrific and important in their own way (Yes even Pete and Vala!) I can understand why AT would get upset - she's a role model for women around the world and she shows younger women that we can indeed be better than the boys, a lot of the time romance can give a woman a "weaker" look - especially in men's eyes. So she wants to move away from the ship, that's fine, maybe a comment or two but I can understand how seasons seven and eight became rather over personal to Sam.

Ripple Effect. Because, if the rumours are true, Janet is coming back in this one (yay Janet!!!! whooo!!! i can hardly keep still for teh excitement..seriously) and hopefully there will be sam/janet interaction like maybe sam telling janet how she and jack finally got together? (and maybe a little jan/dan too).

so it's a very faint hope. so faint it's almost invisible. but invisible hope is hope nonetheless.

Not to burst your bubble, but the spoilers are also saying

that Janet is only being shown in flashbacks. That means there won't be anything really new, and definitely nothing that happened post-her death in S7. I know, I'm bummed too. Having the *real* Janet resurrected might actually get me to watch an episode.
