When you mean my associates do you mean the people at forums.spacebattles.com? Because sometimes I go there for vs debates and I was wondering if you go there to talk about things like that. I asked a Forerunners vs Asgard thread there and I was laughed off the stage

It looks like a site I visited a while ago.

But by associates I meant RL people and some forum thread discussions.

And I think the forunners would win, but the Asgard could put up a good fight. Although, if the Asgard got O'Neill and Ragnarok class ships with AGPB weapons..but the Forunners built all the Halo things. I.D.K.

Hmmmm, my first question how many Ori warships will the Ori be able to bring to the SW galaxy? Because if they can get a working supergate...six ships were being built on Ver Isca, and I am sure the Ori have hundreds of worlds. So if even just 100 built 6 ships every year, 600 ships. X-how long they have been preparing to invade the Star Wars Galaxy.

I am unsure of how many Star Destroyers were left over in imperial hands, but I know the empire had high hundreds of the big ones, I think 2 super sized, and thousands of small support vessels.

As far as fighters go, an Ori fighter could smash Tie fighters all day long. Tie fighters only advantage is its small size.

This is a good fight actually. Bear with me. Ok, lets see...

Imperial 1-class Star destroyer-1 mile in length, but there is conflict on this.

So, alot of laser type weapons and ion cannons.

I do not see those laser weapons effecting Ori shielding. Sorry, but its not going to happen if Goa'uld plasma turrets and Asgard O'Neill cannons did not. Now how about the ion cannons? Anubis upgraded Ha'tak shields with rudimentary Ancient tech and made them immune to Tollon ion cannons. And Ori shields were built using Ascended knowledge. So, the ion cannons are out too. Now, I read in the Yuuzhan Vong invasion series that Victory class Star destroyers have 80 concussion missile tubes, which are used for anti fighter duties, but if Al'kesh plasma charges had no effect on Ori fighters then I doubt a simple device like a concussion missile would.

And I love Star Wars, but frankly their ray and particle shields fail in comparison to the shields of Stargate or Star Trek. Ori beam and pulse weapons would go right through a Star Destroyers localized deflectors. Depending on were it hit, the main beam could take out a Star Destroyer in one or two shots, but I would give it 5 at the most just because of its sheer size, 500 meters longer then an Ori Warship.

Between 6-12 rapid fire pulse cannons, do not know for sure, but they have them in every direction. And the most powerful/advanced space ship shields seen in the Stargate universe.

The "new" empire does not use Jedi much, but the Ori have Priors and bio weapons. Gotta remember that.

Now you are saying, wait, he said it was a good match? The empire is going to get stopped! There Is more....
There are no examples of tractor beams in the Stargate universe. They use subspace fields to tow things. But tractor beams and Interdictor ships could be used in tactics for fighting Ori ships. Star Wars gets many kudo's for its gravity technology. How powerful of a force would it take to crush an Ori ship? Centerpoint station, if they got it operational, could do the trick. (But that is a huge if.)

And they could try Kamikzai tactics. It did not work for a Ha'tak, but Star Destroyers are bigger. More then twice as long. I do not know if it world work but it would be worth investigating.

Another Death star, the Eye of Palpatine, and maby the Sun crusher. The sun crusher would only be useful if the Ori made planetary bases. Those are is the only things that could give them a chance. Star Wars has great super weapons.

And Priors seem to rely on their advanced technology and bag o' tricks rather then true tactics. There are very clever Imperial officers who could keep the empire in the game with true military tactics.

So there are some points. It up to people now to vote.

I thought of a good stomp one.

The Replicators during the clone wars
A what if scenario... Thousands of years ago a Replicator ship from the Ida Galaxy traveled to the Star Wars galaxy during the Sith War and crashed landed on a planet. Now lets say thousands of years later in the middle of the clone wars a Trade Federation ship dropped out of orbit around the planet to investigate for a new colony. They land on the planet to find that the surface was littered with Rep blocks. They picked them up for study and to learn from them. The blocks soon activate and begin to replicate. What happens from there?
Timeline for the clone wars is at the end of season 3.
I would like nice tactical information on how the war will go down not about power requirements so much. Can the Star Wars galaxy stand a chance?

They would infest the ship, they would start by killing threats in the immediate area, then they would access a computer terminal and figure out Trade Federation computers. The Replicators would dissect its tech then modify it. Hyperdrive, weapons, shields, sensors, all would be improved. Beaming tech would be added.

Blaster bolts would do nothing to them but to give them an energy snack. Droids and the ship itself would provide raw material. They would access the data base and learn all about the galaxy and were all the best "feast's" would be. They would infest every Droid factory, every shipyard every mining planet very quickly. With ships faster then anything in the Star Wars universe, they would spread too quickly to deal with, especially with bureaucrats in the lead.

The ships that tried to fight them would be captured and consumed.

Only way in heck they could hold them off is if the Jedi/Sith can use the force to rip apart Replicators. Gravity tech might work in that regard, but the Replicators learn fast. But the Replicators...they Replicate. There can be alot of them fast. Replicators would win.
