okay here is a summary of it, I did my best but if I miss something at least the episode is airing tomorrow :).

Rosilee and Monroe are trying to calm a bunch of wesen down in the spice shop, who are freaking out about a possible exposer to them. And its not working so well. Someone mentions Freddie (Rosilee's brother) and how he protected them. and Rosilee promises she will do the same.

Some spoilers from David:
http://insidetv.ew.com/2013/03/13/arrow-big-bang-theory-supernatural-ncis-la-find-out-whats-next-in-the-spoiler-room/

So, the child doesn´t have to be Renard´s (I never thought about Hank, but the timing for it wouldn´t be right), the potion may have some side effects (to better or worse? They never said what is the second part of the cure...) and from what he says, Nick and Renard don´t trust each other at all :D
I can´t wait to see next episode :)

04/05/2013 (09:00PM - 10:01PM) (Friday) : ROSALEE IS CALLED TO JURY DUTY AND TAKES ON A LAWYER WITH UNUSUAL POWERS OF PERSUASION -- While on jury duty, Rosalee (Bree Turner) tasks Nick (David Giuntoli), Hank (Russell Hornsby) and Monroe (Silas Weir Mitchell) to help stop a defense attorney from using his particular "Wesen wiles" to overturn what should be an open-and-shut murder case. Could it be that Grimm was at a different time slot than last Friday? Face Off started at 3 am and was finished by 4 am, while yesterday's was at 2 am and stopped at 3 am.. I only caught it in time because I saw Akela Cooper tweet that it was only an hour to go until Grimm.

Just my thought! That's why I (again) missed the first minutes. I didn't had the browser with Twitter on top because I was capping for TeamGiuntoli. When I reopened Twitter the first 10 minutes (again!) were already done. And I remember last week, it was 3.10 am when you sent me the link, last night it was 2 am, so yes, different timeslot - or US is earlier with the daylight-saving-time.

 Interested in a meeting? After HEA is cancelled I decided to change my plans. Heck, I've that time off, I can go to FedCon again ;)

They canceled the whole thing? Wow. I had my doubts about David making it to Europe in the beginning of May because at that time, it is possible they will start shooting Season 3 (fingers crossed for Season 3) or will have other commitments. One year ahead is a long time. I never hold my breath when some actor, who I want to see, is announced at FedCon very soon. So you are going? Since my two friends will stay in another hotel, will fly in another time by another plane and are interested in different actors, we won´t probably see each other much. Any chance we could meet and squee about Grimm together? :D

IceIsNice: I remember David talking about shooting this scene. I have been looking forward to it ever since. Scooby gang together, and I am sure there will be some funny awkwardness involved...and I hope in some good Nick/Monroe roommate scenes :D

OK, I will write PM before FedCon. :)
In the meantime, they also canceled GalaxyCon where Sasha was supposed to be :( I was considering to go, but I wanted to wait til after FedCon because I wasn`t too sure about money.

Hyndara71
March 21st, 2013, 07:55 AM
Yeah, I KNOW - and right now I'm PISSED about that. Heck, they already had five months! The most people I know wanted to wait till AFTER FedCon before buying a ticket for GalaxyCon. And I just have paid my ticket - YESTERDAY! I swear to you IF there will someone coming up now with "oh, we will change that into a Weekend-Ticket for FedCon" gets a kick in his/her butt and I will feed this someone with the convermation-mail(s).
I wanted to go to GalaxyCon BECAUSE of Sasha while my only intention to go to FedCon is the possible meet with people I know from the internet (like you, there are also a couple of others). There is NOT ONE guest-star I really want to see or get an autograph from or even go to the panels. GalaxyCon were, besides Sasha, one or two others I wanted to see.
Why they couldn't wait until FedCon is over? I'm sure the ticket-sales would get stronger then. But no! I'm so pissed now ...

Besides, there's still this "Like"-thing about a French Grimm-Convention. I'm not completely sure how many likes GrimmFrenchFamily are still needs but if you haven't - PLEASE! go to Facebook and like their site. This management-Company they will get interested in needs 300 "Likes" to get interested. And, it's also the cast and crew of Grimm behind this.
Unfortunately Paris is too far away for me ... :(

Klenotka
March 21st, 2013, 10:42 AM
I am pretty sure a lots of people wanted to do the same :( I didn´t know how many days off I would have left by September so I really wanted to wait til July :( It is a bad, bad marketing move from their side. Really, doesn´t anybody use brain there? It is so obvious. FedCon is so damn expensive. Even though I am from the country that is a neighbour of Germany, it is still across the whole Germany and I had to buy a flight ticket, acommodation, autographs will be expensive...did they really believe that people will rush to go to TWO such huge conventions, with a lots of people counting money? I am also angry because I thought about going and prolong the stay for four, five days and have it as holiday. Their loss, I guess...they lost my 100 Euros.

Anyway, back to Grimm - I hope more actors can get to Europe. Since the show airs here (pretty successfully) I can only hope that the four people who make conventions with actors here will consider to invite someone. I am doing my best to spread the word about the show, too.

sorry, but I already hate this episode :( once because with that title I expect something really bad to happen to Nick and second, because we already know that it will end in a cliffy  I hate cliffhangers, more even if they are at the end of the season

Hyndara71
March 22nd, 2013, 02:58 AM
I LOVE that title. My only hope is that the cliffhanger won't be this bad as the one in 2.12 was. My, I still cannot believe that I said *once* it wouldn't be such a bad cliffi. But after three weeks I began to climb the walls.
To be true, I expect that one to be a BIG and NASTY cliffhanger, also because Greenwalt and Kouf had told about that in an interview before Grimm returned. They'd said that it would be a major cliffhanger and that they (not) only because of this cliffhanger hope for a third season - otherwise they feared to get killed by Grimmsters running wild or so ;)

Klenotka
March 22nd, 2013, 03:22 AM
Every show has cliffhangers. It is part of the appeal. Yes, it may be annoying to wait for the resolution but also exciting at the same time. We can be only happy that the breaks are not *that* long (even those threemonths were not that bad). Breaking Bad ended with cliffhanger last June and new episodes start in July. What can a poor fan like me do? :D

The title of that episode sounds very...ironically. I am sure "sweet" is not meant the good way :) Well, at least we know that Juliette is still there. I always wonder if Greenwalt and Kouf, will follow Whedon`s school and will have the heart to kill off someone in the finale. Not that I want to but...Juliette or Hank would sort of make sense.

SpoilerTV (http://www.spoilertv.com/2013/03/ratings-news-23rd-march-2013.html)I don't know anything about this but here's a guess. I think March Madness basketball was on last night, right? If so, then probably a lot more people were watching TV than normal on a Friday night. So if the 1.4 is based on a percentage of total viewers on all of TV instead of just number of people watching that specific show that would make sense. (And, actually, that would be pretty good because an awful lot of people like to watch the basketball....don't ask me why!!!!)

Don't know. Over here Christmas and Eastern are usually the holidays with the most TV-viewers, that's why the networks are running all the blockbusters on those and pulling shows nearly completely off screen. Don't know how you guys in US are handling this. So far your TV-schedules looks as "business as usual" for me

Easter doesn't dominate the airwaves like Christmas does, but anyone observing religious events wouldn't be watching live. Add the basketball in, and the ratings make sense.

Are you tired of NBC not sharing the Grimm love?
Do you hate missing out on promo's or other videos on their Youtube Channel or website?

Then I have good news for you, my friend!
Thanks to this new shiny add on (http://proxmate.dave.cx/), all your worries melt away and you too can enjoy these videos!

*ends pitch*

So there. Enjoy ;)

It appears not all videos on the NBC website will work, while I can see the newer ones such as the Sock-brother video and Juliette's ordeal video - the older interviews did not work, nor full episodes. Youtube however works fine for me

I can imagine how everybody was surprised by the success of the show. NBC gave them the slot on Friday evening and probably thought "we give them a shot, cancel later". Well, it filled the gap between all those vampire and detective shows. It is a nice compromise, I think.

I think it´s a pretty misleading synopsis. Grimm is a fairy tale/fantasy show, not sci-fi. I like how they are able to find even a scientific explanation (through chemistry or so) for anything which keeps it grounded. Question: Do you have any Grimm news? —JP
Ausiello: Nick’s heightened abilities in the wake of being attacked by that fly Wesen won’t turn him into Superman, maintains exec producer David Greenwalt. “You’ll see some cool fighting for sure,” he adds, “but he won’t be able to leap off tall buildings in a single bound or anything like that.” Adds fellow EP James Kouf with a laugh: “It’ll take at least two bounds.”

not yet official means it's a deal now (as I don't think with one of the exes around - Norberto is directing the season-finale - they would do such a hoax for nothing - or they are in bitter need of another job) there will be a 3rd season but NBC will announce that the big way.

I've edited Claire's Q&A from last night and wrote a note for what happened during her fan-interview. I think I can also post this edit here (in spoilers):

After 1 1/2 hour Claire returned for a special shout that also came during the Q&A but got lost during the happenings there:

@clairecoffee11h
SHOUT! “@Storm_Shadow1: @clairecoffee request a shout out to all of the military, DoD Civilians & contractors stationed CONUS and OCONUS?”

During her fan-interview Claire was interrupt two times by a group of Grimmsters mostly from South America. Those Grimmsters wanted to place their project via the Q&A and spammed Claire with more than 60 Tweets per minute, all with the same hashtag: #wewanttwitterofsilasweirmitchell They also tried to make every other Grimmster who was online join their group - well, as much as I can say every. From "my" group every.

The reason is still clear and, guys as much as I would love to see a Tweet from Silas, I respect his decision, and so should you. Silas mentioned now several times that he will never join Twitter, cast-members (Reggie and Bree) verified this also several times now. During her Q&A Bree told the Grimmsters that Silas is more an old-fashioned guy who prefers old-fashioned contact with fans via letters or on Conventions. It IS great so have so many folks of Grimm at Twitter, heck, it made me return to Twitter after I'd abadoned it for years! - but it's not the rule for every cast-member to join it. Silas is a grown man, he has a family and a life besides his work on the show. To drag him into something he simply don't want to do cannot be the right way.

Besides, this Q&A was Claire's own decision. She's done with Grimm for this season, her scenes on the season finale were already filmed and she's back in NYC. She did this because yesterday was a rerun and just for fun, no one told her to do. To be true, her idea came out of the blue yesterday morning and baffled NBC so much that they didn't start to promote it before Claire herself told them in another tweet HOURS after she said she would do a fan-interview. Maybe that was the reason why so many "not so well known" Grimmsters came through with their questions, don't know. But last night's Q&A felt special, it was somehow special until it nearly was broke up by this Silas-fan-group. As my dear friend and soul-sister ,@DingoSue said during the discussion we had afterwards with some of the supporters: "This was for Claire's fans." It's not the right behaviour to hijack an interview to find support for anything.

The Grimm-Fandom is known as one of the friendliest fandoms ever. It would be a shame to see it split into pieces because of a small group who cannot accept the decision one of their stars had made.

lol, thanks for doing that. Its to bad about those fans that ruined it.

Yeah, first I didn't get what happened. I'm always busy with collecting the Tweets since I began to post the Q&As on my LJ (for example, for Reggies interview I needed 3 hours to collect all questions and his answers. But Reggie was very, very fast with answering). Suddenly nothing happened with Claire. And then, suddenly, the hell also broke loose over me as my few South American Followers began to send those Tweets out - and I only got 15 during the first wave, Claire got lots more! After that calmed down she tweeted again but then they also tweeted again so that Claire finally broke up completely, around 10 minutes earlier.
As I said, we had a long discussion afterwards about this. I mean, I would die to see Silas joining Twitter but he's not the kind of guy to do so. And just IF he would do I'm pretty sure that account would end slowly dieing like Russell's. Twitter isn't for everyone and I respect that. Why these guys aren't able to do so ... I don't know. But I think Claire did well with trying to continue.

Welcome to the Forum, Nahaliel :)!
Ah, we'll see where this will lead. I don't think that Muse-Wesen will finally "win" Nick's heart but I also doubt Nick and Juliette will be a couple again - well, not this season. There's still too much between them, too much secrets on Nick's side. And if I were Juliette and would finally find my memory back I would be really pissed!

Nahaliel
April 14th, 2013, 02:57 PM
Thank you! :) I hope not... But usually with those things, they build it up and then it turns out to be nothing like what they had led us to believe, lol! Fingers crossed for that! Looks like Juliette is back in the hospital in that picture. I'm dying to know why! I really miss them as a couple though... I feel like she's seen so much crazy since the second half of S2 that she'll be a little bit more open to believing the whole Grimm thing. If that happened it would be great lol! But I think you're right, I don't think the problem will be solved before the season ends. Am I the only one who thinks they're dragging out the whole 'Juliette slowly remembering Nick' subplot too much now?

Hyndara71
April 14th, 2013, 03:16 PM
They were a great couple in season 1, I believed them that they were a pair. And I have to say as hard as this sounds, but David and Bitsie also do a great job in "splitting up". I really love their body-language changed with the memory-loss. So much about "the weakest actors" ... well, my opinion.
Seriously, I hated more how long it took until the regeneration started then the plot now. True, it's a slow process but for me it works - for now.

Something about the final episode, but finally you'll know more or less the same as you did before reading this

GRIMM DEPARTURE: A funny moment occurred at Funhouse Lounge on April 6, when writer-director Steve Coker ducked out halfway through his own play, a performance of Varsity Cheerleader Werewolves From Outer Space, to act in the season finale of Grimm. Coker, a filmmaker dabbling in theater, had brought in a stage tech to cover for him. Coker didn’t offer many details about the Grimm finale, but said his scene involved David Giuntoli and Russell Hornsby, and was a part of a non-supernatural police investigation. So there will be no cheerleader werewolves.

Some finale spoilers from TVLine

PRE-FINALE EPISODES | As Season 2 comes to a close, Nick's uneasy alliance with Capt. Renard won't get any simpler. Co-creator and executive producer David Greenwalt sums it up like this: “Your friends become your enemies and the enemy of your enemy is your friend… I mean, Renard did try to kill his aunt.” Speaking of things the royal bastard has done, pregnant Adalind has a “pretty frightening and scary story arc” involving the gypsy Stefania, but the stork won't arrive (pending the series' renewal) until well into Season 3. In other otherworldly news, prepare yourself for a new kind of almost-Wesen, crop circles, mutilated cattle and Nick's new love interest (!). And if that's not enough, “We tell you why Van Gogh cut off his ear,” co-creator and executive producer James Kouf adds.

MAY 17 SEASON FINALE | A new mystical creature, Baron Samedi from Haitian lore, will be around for the season's last episode — as will all of Juliette's lost memories! “She gets everything back, and more,” Kouf previews, with Greenwalt adding, “It's not like she has a super power or anything... She kind of wants to make up with Nick, but then there are other problems that occur, and her life is actually threatened in the later episodes.” The EPs also confirm that the veterinarian's infatuation with Nick's boss has been put to sleep. “They are done with each other,” says Kouf.

Well, I have seen 1x18 but can´t share my thoughts since the thread is closed :( It was a great episode. I am not going to write more because of the spoilers to the episode but it is definitely a great start to the final few episodes.

So they will air 1x18 next Friday and then air 1x19 to Tuesday? What a stupid move is that NBC? Haven´t they tried something like that before? I may understand the moving to 22:00 but why Tuesday? It has some tough competition. Also, before the end of the season, when irregular viewers will have problems to catch up and some fans won´t notice it moved :( Let´s hope they will at least promote it properly.

2.18 will air next Friday, after that it's Tuesdays.

Klenotka, as far as I've understand it, Ready for Love was a flop and NBC now had that schedule off because they wanted it off air. But, seriously, I have no idea why they did that. Yes, we had that experience before with Mondays, but still 10/9. That's too late, Grimm will start bleeding viewers. I hope they will keep the rerun on Fridays as they did at the start of the season. Because on this way they can compare and will hopeful move Grimm back to Friday before they have hurt the show too much.

But seriously? I don't have a good feeling about that. Not with Tuesdays *shakes head*. Maybe I'm superstitious here but this cannot end well. To me this looks right now as NBC wants Grimm to die :(

Moving from Friday to Tuesday is supposed to be a good thing. Shows aren't supposed to survive Fridays, and Grimm is one of the exceptions, and was rewarded by getting put on a better night.

When it aired on Mondays at the beginning of the season, the views weren't real great, but that was because it was still summer, and people watch a lot less tv then. Like I said earlier. If they wanted it to die it would be on Saturdays, not Tuesdays.

And now that Grimm finally gets a good lead in, that should help it a lot.

I don´t want a cliffhanger involving Juliette - at least not that memory loss thing. It is enough they dragged it through whole Season 2. Her involvment only if A) she will finally know the truth and will be actively participate in whatever comes, B) She leaves, C)She dies.

I think it is more an ironic title - sounds like something Adelind would say.

according to tv.com this is the title of the 22nd episode of season 2 (season's finale?)

Goodnight, Sweet Grimm

I have a very very bad feeling about that, I know I will deeply hate that episode because of its cliffhanger

You don't have to put that into spoilers, Mi, the title was already revealed a couple of weeks ago.
According to David Greenwalt and Jim Kouf 2.22 will end on a cliffhanger that every Grimmster will run amok if Grimm won't be renewed. So, I'm pretty nervous about that. First I thought, especially after that pic, Bitsie took from the last night of shooting season 2, season 3 is a sure thing. But now with the move to Tuesdays ... *shakes head* ... I begin to doubt there will be a 3rd season :(

I do not believe that the cliffy will be about Juliette. I think it will be about Nick. I was thinking something like him being drugged or poisoned or whatever and sent overseas to Europe as prisoner of the royals far away from anyone of his friends or 'supporter' including Renard or I am reading too many good fanfictions :D ;)

I don't think that way. Think about that spoiler Kouf gave last week and Greenwalt confirmed it:
Friends become enemies, and the enemy of my enemy is my friend

I think something will happen between Nick and Monroe and probably Rosalee. Only one is for sure, the cooperation with Renard will be done.

I hope not, I cannot imagine 'Grimm' without Nick and Monroe being buddies. What do you mean by the cooperation with Renard will be done?

Last week it was said very cleary by David Greenwalt. I don't know when but Nick and Renard being allies will be done by the end of the season. It looks more like Nick will team up against Renard (maybe the brothers with Adalind, don't know exactly how to take that spoiler).

well, then I do not like the direction the show is taking; hopefully I will not lose my interest in Grimm, but this happened to me before, the moment I do not like the development, I watch for few episodes, but if it does not change, I stop. That would be a pity because basically the idea of Grimm is a good one. :(

I don't think that would be a bad move - if so! Maybe I misunderstand something, don't know. But so far the writers have (mostly) done an exellent job with Grimm and how to develop the show. I would say, take your time, look what will coming up and decide then.
Besides, have you checked out FF.de lately? There are a couple of new Grimm-Fics - and espeically in one I have some hopes (and could also be for your like as it's Monroe-based :)).

I hadn't been checking FF.de lately. Thanks for telling me :)

Okay, some pics and infos just came in via Twitter: Grimm is on NBC's summer-press-tour! Guys, you know what that means, right?

EDIT:
Here's the entry in my LJ with the pics:

Oh I hope that doesn't happen! You guys are scaring me with your doubts about there being a season 3... :(

Summer Press means there is something coming up. NBC wouldn't promote a show they will cancel. Don't know why they are taking so long for the official renewal but I think now it should be sure. Summer press means new season in late summer/somewhere fall.

Maybe with moving the show to Tuesday, they decided also to promote it properly. About time. I can´t believe Chuck managed to survive 5 seasons with the lack of promotion. Loyal fans. Like Grimmsters. I am proud to be a fan :D

Maybe the relationship between Nick and Renard could be ongoing on/off. They will work together, then against each other...it could be fun.

Also, I still think that the season may end up with Nick going away from Portland for a while, with Season 3 starting with him trying to stop being a Grimm OR to run wild as a Grimm, either goes. I think it will all depend on what happens in the last episode and what happens to Juliette. I think she may be the only one holding Nick in Portland now.

I hope (without seeing friday's episode), that it is likely that Nick leaves Portland and be more grimm like because that is much more interesting than him trying to be "normal" since that is what he normally is like anyway. I think this will be the result of what ever happens with Renard. He obviously will return in season 3 (which there better be) a bad-ass grimm but still a good person.

I totally agree with you!

Never thought of it being Nick leaving Portland, but now that you mention it, it sounds plausible!

More spoilers/teasers for the finale

Get ready to Grimm and bear it! "There's going to be a big, exciting cliff-hanger," executive producers David Greenwalt and Jim Kouf tell TVGuide.com. "Nick is going to be in a pretty terrible position, and some of Nick's enemies may have the upper hand." But why should Nick have all the fun? Pals Monroe and Rosalee will also be in peril, and the effects of Juliette's creepy memories returning will come to a head. Elsewhere, everyone's favorite ex-Hexenbiest Adalind will definitely be "making trouble," as will a menacing new Wesen. Plus: Expect to see the royal family and the mysterious and haunting Baron Samedi (guest star Reg E. Cathey).
