what do you think is going to happen to both Nick and Renard because it looks like there might be sharing a scene or two together because of the staircase they are on.

Well this is how the episode is described on the Grimm website

Captain Renard returns to Portland to help Nick and Hank search for a Wesen that targets prominent members of Portland's Russian community.

wait does that mean that the European stuff isn't going to be continued next episode? If Renard is in Portland? or I guess without Renard. I do think they are going to share that staircase scene.

Press release for episode 3.10 "Eyes of the Beholder"

THE DEATH OF A NOTORIOUS GANG MEMBER REVEALS A NEW SIDE OF THE WESEN COMMUNITY – SHARON LEAL GUEST STARS – Nick (David Giuntoli) and Hank (Russell Hornsby) are called to the scene of a gang-related homicide. The case escalates as Zuri (guest star Sharon Leal), Hank’s physical therapist, and her brother get caught up in the investigation. Meanwhile, Juliette (Bitsie Tulloch) seeks advice from Rosalee (Bree Turner) in dealing with the news that her friend is Wesen. Reggie Lee also stars.

I wonder if Monroe and Adalind won't appear since the actors and characters weren't mentioned at all like they normally are. Monroe would be more of a surprise if he wasn't in it

I dunno, Ice.. I mean, was this "Christmas"-two-hour-in-one-night thing the midseason thing or is there another one to come? Because if that's still to come then there might be a chance.. It seems the writers of the show LOVE to do TBC-episodes.. :S

TVLine's Winter Spoiler (http://tvline.com/2014/01/02/returning-shows-2014-spoilers-sleepy-hollow-scandal-sherlock/#!12/grimm/)

PREVIOUSLY ON... | Nick's heightened senses seemed to help him be a better Grimm, but what's up with his tendency to imitate a corpse every once in a while? Capt. Renard traveled to Austria to join the burgeoning anti-Royals movement. Adalind, also in Austria, was summoned to meet Eric Renard's replacement, a cousin named Viktor who knows about the (monstrous?) child she's carrying.

COMING UP NEXT | The situation in Europe will evolve, show creators David Greenwalt and James Kouf tell TVLine -- and Adalind "is the emphasis for the change," Greenwalt says. Something else won't be the same: The gang back in Portland will find out about the Hexenbiest's impending blessed event, "and all these various factions and de-factions -- if that's a word -- will come together," Greenwalt says. "It's going to cause a heck of a lot of turmoil for Nick's life" -- and by the end of the season storylines will cross, creating a "big mess." Moving to a completely different sort of mess, the series creators hint that the approach of Rosalee and Monroe's long-heralded wedding means we're going to meet both of their families -- and that there'll be hard feelings all the way around. "We have some real issues coming up with Monroe and his family," Kouf says, but Rosalee's home situation isn't all sweetness and light, either. "She does have a sordid past, and there are some deep wounds on both sides of that very fence," Greenwalt notes. Also: In a Wu-centric hour, we'll see the sarcastic sergeant "undergo an amazing change," Greenwalt promises.

David Greenwalt and Jim Kouf have a a 7, a 9, and a 10 year plan for Grimm, so as of now, if things go well there could be up to 10 seasons of Grimm.

AX: Is there any kind of an endgame to the arcs in GRIMM?

GREENWALT: There’s some kind of an endgame. Those keys are going to come into play and Year Five will be a big year full of changes and stuff, but we don’t know precisely that far ahead. We kind of discover it as we go. We have a seven-year plan, a nine-year plan and a ten-year plan. As long as it keeps evolving, as long as it’s fun for us and the actors, who knows. It started with what I call the micro thing, the monster inside a human being, and we still do that on a weekly basis, but we have the macro thing of, what’s wrong with the word and who’s behind it? It turns out it’s this royalty that wants to come back to power. So as long as it can keep expanding and growing and be entertaining – I mean, I’ll be dead [laughs].

Wondering what happened to the 5 years plan they mentioned during both interviews for the Titan Collectors magazines ... I'm just reading the fall-edition, that's why I'm actually wondering. Besides I'm not quite sure if the numbers are high enough for more than 5, maybe 7 seasons. I've heard a lot critic about season 3 lately. So, I'm not the only one complaining (and I nearly stopped complaining ;))

Ahm ...

Dudek will guest-star in the episode titled "Once We Were Gods" as Professor Vera Gates, a bright young archeology professor excited to begin studying a 3,000-year-old sarcophagus. What makes this discovery especially unique, however, is that the sarcophagus is decorated with a carving of Anubis (the Egyptian God of the Dead) as opposed to the typical sarcophagus carving -- that of a pharaoh.

Anyone else feels a huge overwhelming deja vu about ... what a coincidence! ... Stargate?

I doubt that because that wouldn't end well, seeing as she killed her mother

Well ...

Kelly seems to have had a coming out as Wesen-fan lately as she's now working with the Laeufer (seriously? Are the writers able to stay only one time to their own canon?). So, my guess ist, Kelly will be the one who will bring Adalind out of the line of fire, maybe back to US at all.

Maybe I'm wrong, but after all the hints and tiny pieces from Michael, the "GrimmWriters" account and Brenna ... I'm pretty sure they are trying this way.

Hyn - If you no longer like this show, why do you continue to watch it as well as post your negativity about it everywhere?

I was ASKED to write a review about the Below the Surface-Book and thought it MIGHT be of interest here as well.
Beside ... I DON'T watch the show anymore. The last three weeks I only capped the episodes, that has nothing to do with watching. Why I continue capping? Because Helen doesn't have another screencapper and I'm still fan of Mr. G's acting. Right now I'm waiting that a friend of mine will send me her screencaps of 3.16 because last Friday's ep is a complete NO GO for me (and when I'm reading the overall tone of the reviews others aren't that thrilled about this episode either).
And I've no idea that collecting and posting the news is something negative? I mean if you want to do it, go ahead! No problem with that.

So ... why don't you open your eyes and see what's really going on in Grimm's writers room?

I agree that the writing isn't perfect but Grimm continues to make me want to watch the next episode. I'm hoping that this coming season the writing team sits down and decides where they want to take this show and decided the mythology and storylines (which probably won't happen) but we'll see.

May Sweeps scoops from TVLine.

PRE-FINALE EPISODES | A new character, dubbed Trubel (as in "Trouble"), arrives in Portland on April 25, and as you may have inferred from NBC promos, she's a Grimm. Expect to see Trubel kick ass "very spectacularly," series co-creator James Kouf says, adding that she won't tie into any existing plot: "She's got her own deal." Meanwhile, Adalind's feelings about motherhood have undergone a sea change since little Diana was taken from her. The Hexenbiest feels "a kind of love that she has never felt before, because she's always been about herself," says co-creator David Greenwalt. "Now, suddenly, there's another very large number in the equation. Certainly she has great motivation for everything she's doing." Finally, look for a return of the series' procedural element, which was put on hold during the height of the Hexenbaby arc.

MAY 16 SEASON FINALE | Wedding bells will ring for Monroe and Rosalee in the finale which, true to Grimm fashion, will have an ending that won't be resolved until the fall. "We have doozies of cliffhangers that should be even more exciting than previous years," Greenwalt promises. What to expect, aside from Monrosalee gazing at each other adoringly? Nick in Grimm-hiding sunglasses that may or may not work. "Something kind of like a resurrection" (per Greenwalt). Problems that arise for possibly-about-to-get-engaged couple Nick and Juliette. And at least one character who's "gonna get hurt."

SpoilerTV (http://www.spoilertv.com/2014/05/grimm-episode-322-blond-ambition-season_10.html)

What mess?
The glasses scene was funny but I wonder how awkward it will look at the actual wedding.
Speaking of wedding...I am sure something will go wrong. Something always goes wrong at weddings on TV :D
I also suspect that either Juliette or Adelind will die. There is no purpose for either of them anymore. I would love to see "dark Nick" and have been waiting for it to happen so let´s hope we get a glimpse of it in the finale.
I am glad they gave up on "case of the week" and focus more on the mythology. I don´t mind Truble but they would probably have to give one of the current characters to make a screen time for her (we barely see Wu or Hank lately). But I still think one of the women will go (and it won´t be Rosalee)

Okay I did my rant about the finale in the episode thread, so now I have a question. Is it possible David is considering leaving the show or have there just been some really bad ideas lately? I have been thinking about it because of some of the strange stuff they have done. The evidence, what happened in the finale, the introduction of Trubel, and the fact that they basically dropped the enhanced Grimm abilities mid-season. It all seems pretty curious, but it could also just be bad ideas.

I have posted an interview with DG in the DG-thread a few weeks ago. There he explains what happened to the zombie-Grimm.
Actually I've the feeling myself but so far nothing came through any news-site, all I know is that Toboni is booked for the fronthalf of season 4 and Greenwalt said, chance is high that she will stay the complete season and, as far as I know, chances are also high that she will become regular.
Contracts for season 4 are known for Sasha, Reggie, Claire, Silas, Bitsie and Bree. Don't know about DG and Russell (but Russell never talks much about anything). The way Trubel is introduced and the fact that she's a better Grimm-cop than Nick could lead that way - however they want to explain the mess at Juliette's house ...

Do you mind reposting that link in this thread? I looked over there but I couldn't find it. I've been wondering what happened with that - in fact that would be one of my main complaints about this season. They set that up and then it just vanished with no explanation.

That bothers me too. They mentioned it every few episodes at the beginning of the season then that was it. Did David not like the make up or something?

I'll probably try to lend me the DVDs somewhere, only to recap for the gallery. Luckily a friend of mine stepped in for 3.16 and capped logoless, so I don't have to redo that one and the "awesome" finale.

I think we will learn more about that one at SDCC, right after the finale it sounded like they would plan to let Nick regain the powers as season-storyarc while Trubel is in charge with the GrimmGang. But as it didn't turn out as an arc the most fans are embracing so far ... I don't know what they are brewing in the writers office. There's a rumour that Monroe and Rosalee would have to face the dark side of Wesen-hate, and that it could be (I don't know if this is coming from the writers or not) that Juliette will leave for good.
Well, you guys will see. So far I feel sometimes like in a deja vu of not so good old Stargate-times ("don't like it, don't watch it") ...

This is my feelings exactly... I will watch S4 but if it seems that they are going to keep Nick powerless, then I may just stop. I don't want to but Nick's story-line is the main reason why I watch and if DG is leaving (please, God, don't let it be true!) or if they want to leave him normal for a season to test the waters with that and with Trubel (*shivers at the character*) then I'm not sure I can abide by that..

*waves from the dark side too* Yes, Hyn, I'm finally on board with your annoyance/animosity at Grimm/the writers. The third season overall wasn't bad but I saw the way they ended the finale a mile away and I am disappointed in the writers for doing it.

Season 4 development speculation:

I've been thinking about how to give back the Grimm power to Nick and I could imagine that they find a way to take them away from Trubel and transfer them to Nick. So Nick would be back being a Grimm-detective and finally Trubel would be freed from this 'burden' and would be able to lead a peaceful life. What do you think?

While Sasha is again in South America, Bitsie and Mr. G finally decided to check out Europe, or better ... they are checking out the Royal playground in Austria:

As it's in German, quick translation:
Bitsie and Mr. G are in Vienna, but their luggage is missing, what they also stated via Twitter. Besides this little drama they are planing to sightsee the "usual" targets, the opera, Hotel Sacher, etc.

Looks like Grimm would take over Constantine's timeslot on Fridays, starting in March:

SpoilerTV (http://www.spoilertv.com/2015/01/grimm-moving-to-87c-from-march-20th.html)

Sidenote:
Interesting conversation in the comment-section about how Grimm is doing in syndication on TNT. I haven't really looked into any ratings lately but this doesn't sound too good to me.

Ice, could you do me a favour, please?
As far as I know the contracts of the current writers team are about 2 years. Which means, they are running out with the end of this season. It would be nice if you could keep an update about this. Is TPTB going to stick to this team or will they hire again a new one for the last season.
Just out of curriosity ... :)

They must be pretty distressed now when they are really plan to kill off a main character by the end of this season ... Interesting in this topic is Norberto Barba's Tweet about season 4's finale-episodes: "Gamechanger".

Wild *very ironic* speculations:
NBC turned the spinoff with Trubel down, now they are bringing Toboni back and will kill Nick off in the finale to promote their shiny new teeny-star and massmurder-kiddo. Juliette cannot control her (still out of the blue existing) Hexenbiest and will change sides, so Prince "Superbore" Viktor will get his very own version of "Viktor's Angels" with Adalind AND Juliette on his side, while Renard, Hank and Wu will suffer from Nick's "stupist Cop-ever"-syndrome and become pompon-swinging cheerleaders for Miss Awesomeness Trubel - who will solve the problem with Kelly and Diana in a wild attempt to become a reincarnation of King Solomon. Monroe and Rosalee will end the season with the proudly declaration that they are expecting their first child (which will lead to another braindeath after Rosalee will give birth in season 5). And off course will someone give the keys to Kelly, who will otherwise be unemployed after she had lost Diana or given her away - so she can also loose the keys like she somehow got rid off the coins. Trubel will be OF COURSE Hank's new partner, sponsored by Renard, who will absolutely fall for her and would give his life if he could keep her safe. Wu will become Trubel's very own student, so he can finally start happy slashing all Wesen he can lay his hands on - of course in Trubel's very own awesome manner. Season 5 will most likely end with Trubel becoming Queen of Portland after the Eisbibers voted for her and Bud himself will work on Renard, so Renard will finally marry Trubel.

Sorry for the sarcasm, I couldn't help myself.

The talks about killing a main character off, I'm really hoping it to be Adalind or Juliette (or both would be even better). I hate both of them this season.

Much as I like the character, in my opinion, it is Renard that has to go. In real life history hasn't been kind to aspiring heirs to the throne. The story would be too perfect if Renard became king, or whatever in the world he wants.

In any case I think the phantom bleeding could be foreshadowing Renard's delayed but perhaps inevitable death.

For the two ladies, Adalind has great chemistry with Nick, as Juliette has with Renard. If either one of them has to go, I hope they get to explore that chemistry before biting the bullet.

The only untouchables are Monroe and Rosalee. Trubel is also a gem of a character. I've actually thought for awhile now Trubel should be made the main character and Nick demoted to recurring, to become so kind of "mythical" Grimm of Portland. But not as a private detective. Something more original. Maybe the Council?

Grimm gets a 6th season.

(I'm not really sure how, because it seems like there are only about 7 people who watch it, but as a Portlander I have to be happy for the local economy! :P)

I was kind of sad when I read that it will be it's last season. However, I'm one of those that gave up after season 4 (I haven't seen the last season). I was just not liking where it was going storywise. I'm not sure if season 5 was better but clearly it wasn't good enough for them. Maybe I'll check the last two seasons out to see how it ends.

I kind of like season 5. I didn't watch every single episode, but what they were doing with Diana I found kind of interesting. I am really glad that they know in advance that they're ending, though. I hate it when shows obviously got caught off guard and end in a cliffhanger or some slapped together ending that doesn't make sense.

From Blastr: Lamenting the loss of Grimm: Thanks for the memories (http://www.blastr.com/2016-10-10/lamenting-loss-grimm-thanks-memories)

Last April, the writing was on the wall. NBC cut Grimm’s future episode order from 22 to 13.

The network officially announced Grimm was entering its sixth and final season.

As we roll through the month of October, I can’t help but be reminded of Grimm’s short future. Its season premiere was pushed to Jan. 6

Think on the upside, it'll be after the first of the year and run through may likely uninterrupted.

I'm sad to see it go but I'd rather see it end on a high note than some dragged out too long mess like some other shows

Like many, I'm sad that season 6 is going to be it's last. I understand it, but I'm saddened by it and I'm annoyed that we don't even get a full season at that.

I think shorter seasons are better in the way that they can make the story focused on main storylines, without fillers. I look forward to it - case of the week was fun but there are so many storylines that need to be closed that any episode with "case of the week" would slow things down.
If I remember correctly, years ago, producers said that realistically, they have a story for 5 years and they probably did it.
I suspect we will see Nick leaving into sunset with his son...if some woman will be with him, that remains to be seen....

Aha! What did Amazon prime do to me? I've been watching and loving this show (first time through) and S6 is not available as yet!
