    Eli's math..

We saw back in Twin Destinies, that Eli does not consider all the possibilities. Where as rush does..
Anyone think he might have over looked something in his calculations for this FTL?

probably, or he learned his lesson from Twin Destinies.

We put our Rush under armed guard when preparing to gate home. The other destiny did not - likely it was Rush's fault.

What? When did we put him under armed guard...?

He's probably referring to the fact that Young had all the sensitive areas guarded in case Rush tried to lock out the dialing computer. Young would have done this in the first timeline, too. It wasn't Rush's fault.

Also, Rush doesn't consider all the possibilities any more than Eli. He's just a pessimist.

Greer was guarding him and had an armed guard at every location where Rush had the capability to enter commands.

Greer was not guarding him. Greer was guarding the bridge.

                What's the difference?

Aside from it being the exact opposite of guarding a person? Rush wasn't being guarded. Greer was already on the bridge when Rush got there.

Why was Greer there and why was there an armed guard anywhere that Rush could "push a button"?

Not the same thing as guarding him. The point was to keep Rush from doing anything impulsive.

As seen in Blockade, Eli's mat is right on, perfect/amazing/unbelievable, as I believe Rush described it to young.

I do not believe he over looked anything they are aware of. However there are tons of unknowns as to what can happen during the 3 years. NO one would be able to prepare for many, just because of Murpheys Law.

sociopaths are meticulous planners, not prone to impulse
