    The Drone Problem

Now that the Drones have proven to be more persistent and malicious in their attempt to Destroy all tech, can we really know that Destiny will be save in the next Galaxy?

Since it is kind of confirmed now that the Drones have Hyperdrive, a jump between the Galaxys wont be much of a problem for them. I just guess that the Drones will anticipate what Destiny is doing and will go there to wait for it.

Thankfully, there is a fundamental difference between an "intergalactic" and "intragalactic" hyperdrive, as we've seen in Atlantis. Also, since the command ship took so long to get to the shuttle, it's doubtful the drones have "intergalactic" drives.

The drones can't track destiny in FTL so she's flipping the bird @ the drones all the way to the next galaxy

This is my solution to the Drone problem from the "last Nitpick" thread:

I think the solution to the Drone problem was to do what they did with the original remaining drones. Take them over and use them to attack the command ships. Figure a way to let the Drones of the dead command ships affix themselves to Destiny extend the sheilds around them then use those drones to hold off the attacking drones while taking down the mother ships which appear to have no on board weapons of their own.

Over time Destiny will have quite the complement and should be able to take out command ship after command ship.

It might have been a few minutes for them to get there...and I'm not sure if we knew where they were at in the first place

But they don't know Destiny's path beyond the gate system. They have no way of knowing which direction Destiny is going after that.

How long can it take the Drones to realize that something is wrong? Apparently they can communicate, so at least after a few months they will probably work out another strategy since the current one obviously failed.

Unless they can cover every galaxy in the vicinity, then it's a moot point.

Destiny Travels more or less on a straight line, it cant be so hard to guess which course it will take.

Or maybe they simply assume their strategy worked and Destiny is now helplessly drifting through empty space somewhere. With no evidence to the contrary, they probably would shut down again or seek out other targets.

Well, I cannot argue with that one. Lets just hope they will seek out other Targets or disperse over the Galaxy to find Destiny. If they stay where they are, they will be a big Problem for the Novans.

As we saw in the first episode, its course is hardly straight on the galactic scale. They'd never be able to accurately guess which one it was going to.

If Destiny knows where to go, dont you think the Drones can figure it out too? I know that Destiny has the Data of the Seedships that was left behind in the Gates, though I dont think that any Seedship would go back to the previous Galaxy just to feed the Gate the coordinates for the next one.

Destiny gets updates from seedships not the gates.
