The eighth season of the fan-favourite series, Stargate SG-1, premieres in February. One of the longest-running sci-fi series in American television history, and exceeding every Star Trek series, Stargate SG-1 taps into society’s fascination with the idea that life exists elsewhere and how limited the future is. General Jack O'Neill (Richard Dean Anderson) steps through the Stargate with his SG-1 team of soldier-explorers as they travel instantaneously to other planets.
