How come he was in Alliances ?

In the episode "Alliances" how is it that Telford is a part of that reality? Was he not part of Rush.2's (the Rush who returns to Destiny after the failed attempt to dial earth)alternate reality and therefore should not be in the reality as those on the ship? Any thoughts or ideas would be greatly appreciated!

Go to the section for discussion on the previous episode Twin Destinies, Telford's situation is discussed in depth there.

He came back in time just like Rush did. The difference being that he also went through the Stargate, landing him on Earth.

Telford2 ( and Rush2) were not from a different reality, but from a different time. Telford came to earth. He may have been from a different time but it's still our earth

By the time our Destiny connected SGC, Telford was already on Earth. He went there 12 hours before Telford from our timeline got killed.

I saw on another thread I can see how Telford caught a solar flare to the past when they tried to dial, or that destiny somehow slipped through time while around a sun (only ish for that part). But are they basically saying that becasue of the unstable wormwhole Destiny itself fell back in time...(am I the only one who has a problem with that?).

Yes, they are saying the entirity of destiny went back in time.

But we don't know what kind of freaky stuff could happen while trying to connect a 9 chevron wormhole ( which is really big and powerconsuming and such ) inside a star with all that solar flare activity around them. It might've ripped a whole in the fabric of time through which they fell.
