Destiny is attacked by drone ships while attempting to recharge its power reserves, forcing most of the crew to gate to a nearby planet while Eli tries a risky alternative.

Getting real sick of these drones

It's too bad this season is the last. This just keeps getting better and better. The drones are like the Replicators only bigger and more unnerving. Park gets blinded (excellent visual scene, by the way, pardon the irony). The drones land a whole command ship on the colony. The star was gorgeous. The next should be a pretty good send-off.

Getting less then a million viewers. That said I liked especially the side effects on what happened to Park

Am I right in understanding that the Novus refugees just went to random planets rather then have the ship take them to the location of where most of the other Novus people gated too?

That was a bit unrealistic. It made her sacrifice worth it though.

No. Destiny left them at the colony world where the ships are going. These are additional colonies founded before the gate on Novus failed.
