    Anyone got a 'Gate planet list?

    I'm asking this because a few times in my attempts to write fanfic I've wanted to put in a planet name like P3X-234 or something and find out it's already been used in the real show.

    Anyone have a list of planets they've been to? o.O

    Here's one site I've seen that I think has a pretty complete list:
    http://trickster.org/arduinna/stargate/planets.html

        apparently it's all to do with the binary sequence the computer uses to spew out the co-ordinates.

          That's interesting....
          It’s the show that doesn’t end, it goes on and on my friends, some people started watching not knowing what it was, but they will be watching forever just because it’s the show that doesn’t end…..

            I think that it's:

            P = Planet
            M = Moon
            B = ?

            But I could be wrong, and it could just be the binary sequencer, but I thought that was what the weird number was from.
            Dark Helmet: So, Lone Starr, now you see that evil will always triumph because good is dumb.
            Dark Helmet: No, it's not what you think. It's much, much worse!

            Col. Sandurz: Prepare for light speed.
            Dark Helmet: No, no, light speed is too slow.
            Col. Sandurz: Light speed too slow?
            Dark Helmet: Yes, we'll have to go right to...Ludicrous speed!
            Col. Sandurz:Ludicrous speed! Sir, we've never gone that fast before. I don't think the ship can take it.
            Dark Helmet: What's the matter, Colonel Sandurz...CHICKEN?!

              Actually I think it has to do with whether the destination is a planet or moon. Planet=P Moon=M and BP probably stands for Bane Planet

                it's got them up to the end of s7, just look under the P's (b for the one from bane, m for prodigy moon)

                  I kinda guessed that - also I couldn't help but noticing, another kansan on the boards.

                    Or alternatively "P" could stand for "Pretty", "M" could stand for "My/Mine" and "BP" could stand for either "Big Planet" or possibly "British Petroleum-owned planet".
