Was just browsing some photos from the Space Station and came across this. It just reminded me so much of Destiny's FTL with an engine exploding!

In reality its actually an "earth rise." The sun is peaking through behind Earth and the blue line is the atmosphere, just gorgoeus and thought I'd share!

maybe that is where they got the idea from, but I think they got the engine design from the Millennium Falcon

Wish i had a better shot but compare to the blue of Destiny's FTL and the explosion.. its a cool blue curved line with a bright red ball in it.
