I've read that the Stargate RPG supposedly states that this device has a power output in the yottawatt range. That's an obscene figure, vastly surpassing any other power source not a ZPM. Setting aside its canonicity, assuming the Tollans have similar devices powering their defensive tech, how were they ever beaten?

1. The RPG is not canon and should be burned
2. Because their weapons were useless against Anubis shields.
