Not sure if this has been covered before but what happens to the great machine after B5 goes pop?

I'm sure it'll keep going on and on, or at least until after Draal expires like the previous Custodian, Varn. If noone else can be found to become the heart of the planet, then Epsilon 3 will destroy itself.

Surely the machine itself would warrant some sort of outpost or visit, seems a bit weird just leaving it there..

I get the feeling that after a while, Draal would probably seek out someone from the Alliance to help him find a replacement. Either that or he would visit people in much the same way Varn did when the time comes.
