Great use of $50,000. Not since "Something, Something Dark Side" have I seen money put to use so well.

I wonder if it was a planned thing, or if Lou did it randomly but someone doing the CGI figured they'd do it anyway.

They don't have to make the model from scratch, so a little extra motion capture probably cost them nothing appreciable.
