I think that was a reference to the original Stargate movie. Daniel Jackson offering food to Kasuf, as opposed to Scott offering food to Booger. Kasuf loved it, the alien hated it and spat it out.

What did they expect though? After all, we've already seen that aliens eat different types of food than humans do. For example... Thor likes the yellow ones. :)

Think about the Asgard, the blue guys. These guys and those glowing bugs things from entity and the defiant one are the only true "alien" looking races the sgc has encountered.
