Squeak-creak (always the same one) in Redemption II !
OK, I am getting a bit obsessed with this silly sound effect - just heard it twice in SG1 4.02 Redemption, Part II. It's a metallic door or gate creak effect. It's not just similar to ones I've heard... it seems to always be the exact same one. I hear it in movies, TV, games... as popular as the Wilhelm Scream, only a squeaky metallic gate-y sound. It must be popular, but I can't find a reference to it online. Anyone have an idea what the deal is with this particular sound?
