    Greer get's his

Was anyone else happy to see Greer get some sweet payback by laying in the beats on Telford?

Haha he wasn't gonna stop, that was for sure. Good thing Scott was there lol.

          Honestly? No.

Greer could have tackled and restrained him.

Instead he tries to bash Telford's face in.

Man Greer really hates that guy, and from what we've seen it seems a little misplaced. So maybe he had a good reason for decking Telford back befire Air to begin with. Cause there's no way Greer has that much hate for him based on his actions post-Air.

There has been talk that Greer hates Telford because Greer was at the base that was attacked by the Lucian Alliance and he lost a lot of friends in the attack. Greer rightfully blames Telford for not giving a warning of the attack.

Scott's beginning to piss me off. Telling that b*tch Wray what was going on in that room annoyed me also. I utterly despise Ming Na's character on the show.

I'm starting to like Telford more than Wray now...just a little.

It's funny because both Young and Greer hate Telford and the loaned body, Rush. It was really a free for all.

I like it when Greer snaps. In my mind that's something that's been missing from both SG-1 and SGA: the unpredictable, uncontrollable soldier.

I love Greer but I hated that moment. The writers want to present him only as unstable and unthinking and therefore unreliable. He was little moe than a savage animal when he slapped around Telford. And of course as usual Scott was there to stop him because Scott has been playing the role of Greer's babysitter all season long. Why couldn't the writers allow Greer to act like a mature marine? He only had to pull Telford off Young. That's it. Instead we get more of the same psycho Greer shtick that doesn't do anything to flesh out his character but nonetheless must amuse the writers as much as it does some of you. Its frustrating.

If you want to make us believe there's no marine with a temper like Greer you fail miserably. Frankly he seems more real than Scott even if I can believe such boyscout also exist in the army.

Well that would be interesting which means most likely its doubtful to happen.

I wanted an explanation of why Greer has it in for Telford in the first place. I wanted to know why he would have slugged Telford which led to Greer getting locked up for a bit. I wanted to see, for once, just a scene between Greer and Telford this time though with their situation reversed because it was noe Telford who was in confinement. But of course we didn't get that because Greer isn't a character the show invests in giving scenes like that too. Instead of giving him a moment as I suggested above or allowing him a scene in which he talks to Young about his reasons behind his rage towards Telford we instead get next to nothing. As usual.

Well, Scott doesn't exist in the Army given that he's in the USAF. Scott's a very green officer, so it's really not that surprising that he's a little soft.
I'm not an actor. I just play one on TV.

Indeed, Scott has never flown an F302 outside of a simulator, he hasn't been in the SGC all that long. Remember he was simply Eli's escort on the base. I have to imagine there were other individuals of higher rank between himself and Young and Telford.
