What happened to the dang Robot? Did it blow up like the ships when the Destiny went into FTL? Did they retrieve it, or could it still be sitting there waiting?

Scott was the one ferrying the robot back and forth. He was back in Destiny helping them prepare for battle so I suspect the robot was back aboard.

Even if it was left all the robots has to do is clamp on and the shield would protect it. I hope there are multiple robots though

The robot is currently at my place fixing my gutters. Following this it will be mowing my lawns and then servicing my car. I may release it to return to Destiny by mid Season 2 unless my hot water cracks up.

So, it's an OCD robot? It starts cleaning up and can't stop? Maybe we should call it Monkbot.

I hope that's true and that there's multiple robots, really want to see destiny at 100%, even if it's only for an episode or 2 then gets damaged again.

I hope we see it again, and hopefully their are more than 1.
They could lead to some great future stories...
I.e. putting a gun onto one to use for defense, an alien entity taking control of one and causing trouble with it ect...
