Anyway not a clue what it does, at a guess Id imagine it has something to do with the terraforming process maybe, or it could be a Control Spire used by the digimon emperior to control the region stopping the digidestined's digimon from digivolving using the regular method into champion level, and of course controlling the digimon emperiors dark rings... This raises a serious threat for the crew of the destiny

Now as you're saying it… hmm, you’re right! Producers would unlikely allow in the show such a space ship. It’s not a plinth then!
