NJ convention

First off i just want to say hi, i just joined the board today.

Anyway i was wondering if any one is going to the Convention in New Jersey? It is worth paying $189 for the "Preferred Weekend Package"?

I'm sorry if any one posted something like this before...I got some catchin up to do by reading the most recent posts.

Well I for one am going to the convention. It will be my first for a Stargate Convention, though I have been to some others not relating to Stargate in particular. As for the price of the "Preferred Weekend Package", I dont know if the cast gets anything from the tickets that are sold, but for the 7 plus yrs that the cast have given us in the form of this great show, I think $189 is a small price to pay. I am considering the Gold package myself as I want to realy enjoy the weekend and the people. But one way or the other, I am SO there!!

Does anyone have an idea of the size of this con? I'm only going Sunday but I have no sense how big it will or will not be.
