is this a reboot ?

is a sequel to the original..its a tweaked version of a script rodriguez was hired to write about 15 years ago as a sequel to the first movie.its not a remake or re-imagining or watever hollwood calls it now.

it looks freaking awesome...so stoked for this.

Actually looks pretty good. Although I'm confused why that article says it the Predator homeworld... that obviously doesn't look like the home planet... just another "planet"

Yeah, I think it takes place on one of their hunting worlds.

Looks decent.

From the trailer though, it seems like there's a bunch of Predators there. I don't see why there would be a bunch of Predators hunting the humans, as the whole point of this franchise is that its usually just one doing all the hunting.

based on what? one clip from AvP2!! we have jungle and mountainous regions on the same planet, why not them?
whilst not what i'd call 'factual' information, this (http://www.jokerdesigns.com/thehunted/homeworld/index.php) describes it pretty well based on "commonly accepted information".
