What Can ALL OF US Agree On?
GateWorld's Atlantis forum is rather, er, notorious for spawning heated debates among divided fans. For more than five years (okay, mostly the last two years) we've bickered, brawled, quarreled, squabbled, and argued over cast changes, executive decisions, storyline diversions, and writing blunders, adding to the ever-expanding collection of things to disagree on. For a change (!) I thought it would be fun to try to construct a list (that will probably be very short) of things that "antis", "pros", shippers, and all other fans can agree on. 
I'll start with a list of things that I think everyone will agree on. If you think there's something all Gateworld-posters will universally agree on and would like to contribute, go ahead and say so and I'll add it to the list. Likewise, if there's something that you honestly don't agree with, or if something is listed that another Atlantis-fan on GW (past or present) would disagree with, say so and it'll be removed.
Oh, and this is a fun thread. No fighting.
The List
Atlantis was never allowed to reach its full potential.
Most fans dislike, to some degree, at least some of the decisions that TPTB made.
Atlantis is a beautiful city.
Lucius Lavin is an obnoxious git.
There has been a decrease in posting since Atlantis ended.
The city's ability to cloak is very cool.
Zelenka is one of the most well-liked characters on GateWorld.
Most alien planets in the Pegasus galaxy look like the forests of British Columbia.
The puddle jumper engines emit a very cool sound.
The Puddle Jumpers are a cool, functional invention.
Atlantis belongs in the Pegasus Galaxy.
Todd is a cool character and is a good addition to the show.
Stargate Atlantis writers could use improvement in their relationship-writing abilities.
In 2007 and 2008, the most controversial discussions that dominated the forum were the departures of Elizabeth and Carson and the additions of Carter and Keller.
Stargate Atlantis has spawned legions of fan girls/boys.
The idea of Stargates in space orbiting planets is a cool idea.
Kavanaugh is a character you love to hate.
There are very few things that all GateWorlders can agree on, unless the Ark of Truth is programmed, (but we all agree to disagree).
Many characters and actions in Stargate Atlantis have caused debate to various degrees.
Many fans can appreciate one or more of the characters for their finer aesthetic qualities.
Atlantis rising from the ocean is a spectacular image.
Each viewer's interpretation of the show is unique.
Kanaan is an underdeveloped character, akin to a cardboard cutout placed in various scenes.
More time should have been dedicated to exploring the city.
Each fan has enjoyed at least some part of the musical score.
Jack's episodes were entertaining for SG1 fans, and stayed true to his character for the most part.
The Ronon/Teal'c showdown was pretty epic.
After 5 seasons, we still know little about Wraith physiology.
The Atlantis shield is superior to SGC's iris in terms of protecting their respective bases.
All GateWorlders like Stargate, to varying degrees.
Kolya's death was pathetic.
Falcon Horus is Heightmeyer's greatest fan.
The P-90 is an awesome gun.
John Sheppard appears to have an endless supply of hair gel.
Teyla and Ronon had a considerable shortage of screentime and character development.
John, Elizabeth, Ronon, and Rodney have all shown that they are willing to sacrifice their lives for Atlantis and its inhabitants, but if placed under the circumstances, the other main characters would probably do so as well.
Each fan misses at least one season of Stargate Atlantis.
The Wraith were entertaining and different villains.
The Wormhole Drive in "Enemy at the Gate" came out of nowhere.
It would have been nice to see Zelenka or Lorne on the balcony at the end scene of the finale.
Stargate Atlantis fans have all watched at least one episode of SGA.
TPTB's 'favorite character' wasn't always 'the fan's' favorite character.
Sometimes, the secondary characters were written more consistently than the main characters.
Some of the secondary characters have a following just as passionate as the main characters.
SGA was a successful spin-off in terms of longevity.
Each actor, featured in the opening credits, has shone in at least one episode.
Minus any threat of impending death, it'd be cool to be able to actually visit the Atlantis city.
Joe Flanigan is a good actor.
