Yet another title for Season 2 released! Since this is JM's episode, it won't surprise you to know that he's already provided many very-very-vague hints about it, and here they are (the newest hint, providing the title, is the last one):

More spinning today in the writers’ room and more headway made on those first ten episodes. We ended up discussing the details of episode 1 (Paul will be doing the honors on this one), talking about the what’s and wherefore’s and, most importantly, answering Brad’s burning question: “How the hell are we going to get out of this one?!”. Carl has requested Episode 5 while I’ve cast my lot with Episode 2. Brad’s idea falls in the four slot, so he’ll take that one, which means Rob will be jumping on 3. What fun!

http://josephmallozzi.wordpress.com/2009/10/28/october-28-2009-another-see-ya-later-this-one-to-jamil-walker-smith-more-spinning-more-mailbag/

Instead, I’ll be switching over to [episode] 3 which, to be perfectly honest, would have been number five on my list of choices only because of the tech component of this particular story (techy scripts are on my personal No Fly list, coming in somewhere between Ancient storylines and anything involving replicator duplicates of our team reaching out to Atlantis). Still, the late addition of another story element (which I initially pitched out for another episode) has certainly made 3 far more intriguing.

Well, another day and still no work completed on the outline. I mean, seriously. Outlines usually take me about a day to complete but I’ve been so distracted of late that I haven’t even had time to sit down and run the scenes in my head. Paul, meanwhile, finished his today. He’s off on the annual end-of-season golf trip with some of the other producers and wanted to make sure he got it out of the way. I too would love to get mine out of the way, but I’m having a little trouble concentrating of late. Hey, I don’t suppose anybody out there would be interested in writing this outline for me?

http://josephmallozzi.wordpress.com/2009/11/12/november-12-2009-progress-on-the-tech-front-almost-time-for-time-news-of-note/

Yesterday, we gave and received notes on three outlines: […] Episode 3 (my story, which will shoot fourth), […]

Anyway, I made a point of carefully writing down everyone’s suggestions on the hard copy of my outline and, once our meeting was concluded, packed up and headed home. Well, packed up everything EXCEPT the hard copy of my outline with the notes. So, I phoned up Birthday Boy Lawren, had him track down the outline (I’d forgotten it in Ashleigh’s office), and instructed him to give it to Carl who I was meeting for dinner that night.

http://josephmallozzi.wordpress.com/2009/11/21/november-21-2009-prepping-my-tokyo-trip-stargate-this-and-that/

Well, I was back at it today and by “it” I of course mean working on Stargate. I finally started writing that script and made some good headway, hitting the ten page mark before flaming out. Still, ten pages aint bad. At this rate, I’ll be finished by this weekend. Which, of course, I won’t be.

http://josephmallozzi.wordpress.com/2009/12/10/december-10-2009-15-days-29-restaurants-34-michelin-stars-only-one-survivor/

More progress on the script, albeit of the slow and painful variety. Hit the 15 page mark today which means that, this weekend, I will no doubt fall well short of the 50ish pages needed for a full script. Still, 25 pages five days off an exhausting trip to Asia would be pretty impressive.

http://josephmallozzi.wordpress.com/2009/12/12/december-11-2009-the-return-of-the-weird-food-purchase-of-the-day-stefan-checks-in-and-the-yuutai/

No progress on the script front. In fact, I re-read the eighteen pages I have so far and hated it.

http://josephmallozzi.wordpress.com/2009/12/16/december-16-2009-a-quickie-update/

Deni writes: “Hi Joe! What happens now that you’ve re-read the 18 pages you have and hate them? Do you start over or just tweak what you have?”

Answer: I’ll go over what I have, rewrite and polish what I think works, toss out what doesn’t and start again. Eventually, I’ll get a rhythm going and I’ll be able to ride that out to the script’s conclusion. Come the top of the fifth act, it’s smooooooooooooooth sailing.

http://josephmallozzi.wordpress.com/2009/12/17/december-17-2009-im-getting-angry-you-wouldnt-like-me-when-im-angry-i-guess-most-wouldnt-except-for-my-writing-partner-paul-who-tends-to-find-it-endlessly-amusing/

I worked on those first eighteen pages of my script and, after several re-reads and tweaks, I’ve gone from “hate” to “mere dislike”. I hope that further rewrites will improve my opinion to “firm ambivalence” before I leave for Montreal. In the meantime, I’ve forged ahead with the next scene – a toughie – and hope to be out of Act II by the weekend. Hopefully inspiration strikes and I can roll through Act III in time for my Montreal departure next week.

http://josephmallozzi.wordpress.com/2009/12/18/december-18-2009-sgu-emoticon-envy-and-the-mailbag/

More writing – actually, rewriting – on the script today and I’m actually beginning to like what I’ve got so far. 30 pages in and that really tricky scene fast approaches.

http://josephmallozzi.wordpress.com/2009/12/22/december-22-2009-okay-now-im-really-done-and-great-gift-ideas-for-your-kids/

I’ve finally discovered my “writing zone”, that oh-so-elusive long sought-after artistic sweet spot, a place that marries private serenity and social dynamism, where focus sharpens and creativity blossoms. I refer, of course, to the Air Canada lounge in the Vancouver Airport where, yesterday, I hit the 35 page mark, and concluded Act III of my script.

http://josephmallozzi.wordpress.com/2009/12/24/december-24-2009-my-new-writers-room-you-can-quote-me-and-back-in-montreal/

Did some more writing today and am well into ACT IV. Should have a rough first draft by middle of next week. I foresee a fifth act obstacle I don’t quite have an answer for. But I’m not worried. These things tend to work themselves out – hopefully well before this goes to camera.

http://josephmallozzi.wordpress.com/2009/12/26/december-26-2009-and-the-gifts-just-keep-on-coming/

Damn this script! It just doesn’t seem to want to get done! Usually, by the time I hit the midway mark of the fourth act, I’m able to blaze through the final pages in one seating. And yet here I sit, stuck at the top of Act V, agonizing over the attack on the opening scene, the elusive linchpin exchange, and, quite frankly, all that has come before. No script is easy to write yet, admittedly, some are easier to write than others – while others are much, much harder to get through. And this one falls squarely into the latter category along with such equally challenging (read: frustrating) past scripts as This Mortal Coil and…well, off the top of my head, that’s it. In all my days writing for the Stargate franchise, THAT was the script that I assumed would be the death of me. Until this one came along. It’s always very easy to put ideas up on the board. Actually incorporating them into a script and making them work is another thing entirely. And yet, in the past, I’ve always been able to find a way. Take Ripple Effect for instance. When I wrote the outline, there was a big TBD (To Be Decided) at the point in script where our team turns on the tables on their doubles. I started writing with no firm idea on how I was going to tackle that particular problem and, as the script progressed and that scene drew closer, I grew increasingly anxious – but when the time came to write the scene, the idea came to me almost as if by magic. And that’s the way it’s been through most of my writing career. I’ll foresee problems ahead and assure myself that I’ll come up with a solution simply because I’ve always done so in the past – and, sure enough, when the time comes, a solution inevitably presents itself. Until this damn script. No 11th hour revelation. No act four twists or clever fifth act resolutions magically coming to me when I most need them. Just a scene heading, INT. DESTINY – CONTROL INTERFACE ROOM – DAY, and a blank page.

http://josephmallozzi.wordpress.com/2009/12/31/december-31-2009-this-script-aint-writing-itself-and-oh-yeah-happy-new-year/

Chevron7 writes: “1. What kind of attack? Traditional ship battle or biological warfare or attack on the systems? […]”

Answers: 1. I was referring to MY attack on the scene. […]

Mackenzie’s Momma writes: “My question is- so when do you head back to work?”

Answer: Back in the office January 11th – hopefully with a first draft of my script. And a title.

http://josephmallozzi.wordpress.com/2010/01/03/january-3-2010-travel-day-mailbag/

I’ve completed a first draft of my script. At this point, I’m not sure whether what I have is good or something I’ve re-read so many times I’ve convinced myself it’s good. It’s a little heavy at just a shade over 51 pages and I’d like to trim it down a little before putting it out. I’d also like to find a title for the damn thing. Not that your many wonderful suggestions weren’t…well…wonderful, but none quite worked. Neither does the placeholder titled, The Encounter, that my writing partner Paul likens to the infamous – but seriously suggested – “Turn of Events”. Maybe something a little more concise like…Cosmic Encounter…or…Dark Rendezvous (And Eli Too!)…Close Encounters of the Deadly Kind…Qu’Elle Surprise!…The Curious Case of the Mystery Ship – Book III of the Everett Young Detective Series…Any of them grab you? Lemme know.

http://josephmallozzi.wordpress.com/2010/01/06/january-6-2009-valedictorian-chimpanzee-acquitted-of-manslaughter/

I head back to the office tomorrow with the first draft of a brand new script AND a brand new title: The Awakening. I like it because it works on a couple of levels – none of which I can go into any detail at this point. You’ll just have to trust me.

Yes, I know that he has a "The" at the beginning of the title. Since this would break the trend of 1-word titles, I'm going to view it with suspicion until I confirm it with him.

I'd be okay with it if it was done well and differently than we've seen in the past (i.e. the Wraith).

And even given TPTB's comments about no main enemy or alien species, I can't say I'd be adverse to it if they decided to go in that direction. I just don't want a rehash of SG1/SGA storylines.

I do wonder what direction the back half of S1 and into S2 is going to take.

Progress report:

As you can imagine, I was in quite a mood by the time I got in and my already sour disposition wasn’t helped by the news that everyone else had put their scripts out leaving me odd man out. So, while everyone else was in Brad’s office chatting away, I retreated to my office for one last pass at the script before handing it off to Lawren.

Update!

Since we already gave Rob notes on episode two before the hiatus, we moved on to episode three, my script. It’s no secret that this one was – well, a ***** to write but the big question was “Had those weeks agonizing over the script paid off?”. Well, let me put it this way: By the time they were done giving notes, it was so late that we decided to call it a day. In fact, I probably would have received even more notes had Carl not actually willed himself to pass out in order to escape the marathon session.

The day also brought a title change from The Awakening to the Brad Wright-inspired Awakenings. Better and, more importantly, in keeping with that one-world title we’ve got going.

Well, I started work on my rewrite of Awakenings today. While I’ve compared writing a first draft to giving birth, I’d say doing a rewrite is more like being worked over by a thug for information you were once privy to but have long forgotten. Today, the muse worked my mid-section. Tomorrow, she’s moving onto the rib area.

Update:

Yesterday, we received a visit from our friends at Syfy, Exec. VP of Original Programming Mark Stern and Director of Development Erika Kennair, who dropped by to talk travel, television and, oh yeah, Stargate: Universe. We spent the afternoon discussing the first five scripts of season two and beyond – character developments, story arcs, and surprises in store for the not too distant future. It was a pleasant and ultimately fruitful sit-down that yielded some terrific ideas that I was quite excited about… until I sat down in front of my laptop this morning and realized I would now have to incorporate these terrific ideas into the rewrite of Awakening. Don’t get me wrong. I really do like the notions we came up with. They’ll help clarify some of the character motivations and offer up interesting revelations about her heroes. I just hate rewrites. Even more than I hate writing first drafts.

Don’t you hate it when you spend hours working out a very complicated script rewrite and head to bed satisfied with a job well done, only to wake up in the middle of the night with the horrible realization that the Volker character isn’t where he’s supposed to be, thereby throwing a wrench into the intricate choreography of that fifth act sequence you thought you’d solved? A small victory today! After rethinking my opening scene during my morning shower, I decided to change tack and rewrite what I had – removing one character, tightening it up, and adding an extra scene enroute to finally completing my Tease. Of course, I’ll no doubt rethink what I have and rework it during tomorrow morning’s shower but, for now, I’m pleased with this most modest of accomplishments. At the very least, it means I’m moving forward – which is something I desperately need to do sooner than later because between my upcoming trip to Montreal, and the prep and production weeks on Awakening, writing time is going to be at a premium. But since, of late, I seem to be at my most productive while showering either driving or anytime after 11:00 p.m., then finding the time to work on the script shouldn’t be a problem.

Figured it out.

Rush wakes up. He is in a stasis pod. It was all a dream where he was the omnipotent observer. He gets out and the Kinos are maintaining all the stasis pods. They see him and it pops open breaking in half to reveal a laser gun which shoots him.

Eli wakes up and he dreams Rush waking up from his dream. He has been in hyperspace while dreaming the entire thing. They drop out of hyperspace and something explodes flinging Eli none too gently against the walls.

Someone is resting his head on a desk. It's Rob Cooper and he has been dreaming the entire show the entire time. He's been dreaming Eli's dream of Rush dreaming. He shakes his head and stands up to get a drink. He trips on something and hits his head.

Then YOU wake up and you've been dreaming Rob dreaming SGU with Eli dreaming of Rush dreaming. Cue Twilight Zone music.

I had a great time with Director Andy Mikita (who I’ll be spending a lot more time with when episode 3, Awakening, shoots in a couple of weeks) and the rest of the crew. Special thanks go to Glenn who introduced me to the joys of juicing my juicing me up a carrot-beet-ginger-apple concoction for breakfast. “Hey, aren’t you going to wash those?”I asked as he cut up the beet and shoved it in the juicer. “Nah,”he replied. “The dirt is the best part!”

Update!

Director Will Waring started shooting episode #2, Aftermath, today – which meant it was time to begin prep on my script, episode #3, Awakening. We kicked things off with the Concept Meeting, Director Andy Mikita presiding over the gathered department heads as we spent an hour going through the script, discussing the various sets-in-progress, scheduling, the repercussions of a character switch, and the surprisingly complicated orchestrations required for a simple photo shoot. We followed that up with a much lengthier get-together with the Art Department and Construction in which we, once again, discussed the various sets-in-progress and scheduling – but in much more detail. Rounding out the day, a quickie Costume Meeting with the lovely Val Halverson, and an equally brief sit-down with Props Master Evil Kenny Gibbs.

A little later, a bunch of us headed downstairs to check out one of the sets being built for the episode. My first reaction upon laying eyes on it was “OMG!”. That was my internal dialogue. I can’t remember what it was I actually said, but it was more or less the same sentiment expressed in much more colorful terms. Director Andy Mikita assured me he looked forward to the challenge of pulling it off. While everyone else was measuring and chatting lighting issues with Director of Photography Jim Menard (who, earlier that morning, had contested my interpretation of several Stargate-related issues in my recent blog mailbags), I talked builds with Scott from Construction.

Another update!

First thing I did when I got in this morning was pop my head into my writing partner’s office and chime: “Who wants to go to a playback meeting?!”

Paul sat back in his chair and looked skyward as if considering. A few seconds of not-so-serious contemplation and then: “No, I don’t think so.”

“I hear they’re bringing cookies,”I said.

But he wasn’t convinced. And so, I had to go it alone: an early stunts and special effects meeting that blew by, a laborious hour and a half long playback meeting, and an equally long and involved visual effects meeting. When VFX Supervisor Mark Savela presented us with the visual effects budget for the episode, I thought Producer John Lenic was going to pass out on the spot. My buddy (and Exec. Producer) Carl wasn’t fazed when he heard the number. He merely shrugged and said: “Hey, we knew it was going to be big.” Well, yes. Big. Not BIG! And so, to ensure we have enough money left to make the remaining fourteen episodes (or alleviate the need to make that special clip show three-parter), Director Andy Mikita and I spent an hour going through the script, tightening up here and there, trimming where we could, and shaving down that number. As a result, the VFX budget for Awakening now falls somewhere between big and BIG. BIg I guess. But what an episode it’ll be!

Update!

Getting past this infernal scene [for Resurgence] is a big relief, especially with the first day of principal photography on Awakening fast-approaching. Day 1 = Friday, over on Stage 4. I put out my yellow pages today, incorporating everything Director Andy Mikita and I discussed in the concept meeting and in the various other chats we had in my office, in his office, in the corridor, or passing each other on the stairs. There’s A LOT going on in this episode and it’s great to have someone as talented as Andy calling the shots on set. I, of course, will be spending some time on set with him while the episode shoots, on hand to answer any questions and stand in exactly the wrong spot whenever equipment is being moved. I also get to spend time with the cast. I hear that Brian J. Smith is a super nice guy. Can’t wait to meet him.

Update:

No sooner do I get into the office this morning than I’m headed downstairs for a tech tour of the various sets. On Stage 6, Director Andy Mikita breaks down the shots, offering up a play-by-play of the entries and exits, considerations and confrontations, and, of course, the big reveal.

[...]

Up another flight of stairs to another second level set: this one the BIG one. We discuss paint treatments and windows, effects practical and visual, stopping every so often and falling dead silent whenever the alarm sounds to let us know they are rolling downstairs. Eventually, everyone is on the same page. And good thing too. We start shooting in here tomorrow.

[...]

By the time I get back to my office, I just have time to unpack my laptop and down breakfast before I’m in the conference room for the production meeting. Although the script is a robust 54 pages long, two separate timings have it coming in “to time”.

[...]

Anyway, we kick off the production meeting with a special birthday announcement and an off-key rendition of Happy Birthday to Kerri after which A.D. Bill Mizel breaks down the shooting schedule. Then, we go through the script one last time. Julie reminds the department heads that their final budgets were due and that is that.

[...]

We watch the dailies and, finally, I’m back in my office. I actually start work on the script, revising the already revised dialogue from the previous scenes and am about to break new ground when Andy poked his head into my office and suggests I join them in the writers’ room for VFX Supervisor Mark Savela’s show-and-tell.

More discussion. A change in approach that will cause me to rethink a scene in my soon-to-be-shot script. Even more discussion. A change in the change in approach. All is well.

Also, a pic:

Instead, I ended up putting out some green pages for Awakening which starts shooting tomorrow…sometime. It’s almost 9:30 p.m. and I’ve yet to receive a call sheet. Since it’s my episode, I’ll spend the day on set loitering around the craft service table and offering Andy unsolicited directing advice (“Hey, you know what would be cool here?! A swish pan!”). Of course the later the call, the later I get to sleep in – AND the later I stay at work. Looks like I may have to cancel my hot date..with Ghost Whisperer.

Major update!

9:30 a.m.: Blocking begins on the first big scene. What has the potential to be a disarray of complicated choreography goes off without a hitch – thanks to Director Andy Mikita. Damn, he’s good!

11:00 a.m.: Onto the next scene, an important exchange between two characters that will set things in motion for a little arc I’m pushing for (and Carl is resisting). It’s a brief conversation but loaded with significance. Both actors are amazing.

12:00 a.m.: I head over to Stage 5 where Robert Cooper is directing the second unit scenes from Aftermath and Awakening

12:30 p.m.: Back to Stage 4 where they’re setting up the kino room scene. David Blue and Alaina Huffman coincidentally, given this morning’s email flurry, start talking about Vegas. David loves it. Alaina, not so much.

1:00 p.m.: Shoot the kino room scene. Gorgeous. We leapfrog scenes 65, 66, 67, 68, 79, 70, and 70A, tackling scene 108 that we end up moving up to a pre-lunch window of opportunity. Andy suggests shooting the scene in such a way that we never really see HIS face. I like the idea – but, just in case, we get coverage.

3:00 p.m.: Picking up a pre-lunch shot, then launching into that gaggle of scenes. I tell the production office to give me the heads up when they’re ready to block scene 24, the last scene of the day (for main unit anyway. Looks like Carl will be here late, keeping the second unit crew company). Everyone is amazed that things have gone so swimmingly. Main unit may actually wrap early!

5:25 p.m.: Wrap up the slew of scene and move on to scene 24. It’s a complicated little sequence for a number of reasons. While they work out the blocking, I spot “the prop” and wonder what the hell it’s doing there. I’m assured it was there at the end of last episode. I find it hard to believe and phone up Rob who passes me on to Carl who informs me the prop WAS there for the rehearsal, but he killed it before the scene was actually shot. So I kill it once again.

They get the blocking down and run through it. I make a minor adjustment, adding a line to end the scene.

6:15 p.m.: Lighting and green screen issues cause a delay. I leave to pick up the dogs from daycare and drop them off in my office. Their piercing unison howls echo through the production offices, much to the chagrin of David and Nathan still manning the front lines. I return to set and watch the sequence being shot. I love it – except for the passing background extras who only serve to distract. Andy kills the background extras. Not literally. I hope.

7:15 p.m.: With only the coverage to go, I head back to the office, pick up the dogs, and hit the road.

I thought today was busy. Tomorrow looks even worse!

Update!

I spent a couple of early hours on set this morning to watch Director Andy Mikita work his magic on Awakening (Day #3 of production). A lot of jumping around in this one which resulted in our block-shooting a number of successive scenes. Producer John G. Lenic swung by to inform me that we were pulling up a big scene from tomorrow’s schedule in order to give Andy time to shoot in that impressive new set in Stage 6.

Andy was confident that he could get it done – and so long as my director was comfortable with it, I was comfortable with the decision. And props go out to Louis Ferreira, David Blue, and Jennifer Spence who ended up having to pull up and prepare yesterday’s scene today on next -to-no-notice – and still hitting ‘em out of the park!

It could either be the robots they found in "Faith/Human" or something Alien?

I'm hoping its Destiny coming to life, as in an actual computer controlled ship (AI) sort of thing. That's what was missing on Atlantis. With a ship, it can be done easily. The Ep, can be about the AI's program fears that Rush and/or Eli are trying to change it's systems and reacts badly, like not believing their from Earth and that thousands of years have passed since its launch. Sort of like the STVoy Ep. (The Haunting of Deck 12) kind of thing only its the Destiny's AI reacting to the crew. In the end Destiny would reach an agreement with the crew.

Well that's my 2cents, Thanks for reading.

I still think this is what the ep is referring to and with everything we know up to this point about the show I'm even more excited!

Anyway, Maverick and I worked through the day my producer’s cut of Awakening: discussing the Previously On, extending the visual effects sequence in the tease, losing that scene from Act I, trimming here, adding there, paring down some of those extra shots VFX Supervisor Mark Savela tried to sneak in and, ultimately, putting that scene I took out back into Act I. Things would have gone a whole lot easier if I had actually been able to read the notes I’d jotted down while watching the director’s cut. I don’t quite recall writing “T.J. bargs tp woogle zog” but, in retrospect, it may have been Rob’s note.

Tomorrow, I head back to post where I’ll go over my cut one more time before putting it out to the masses.

Answer: We break an episode, first spinning out the idea, then fleshing it out on the whiteboard by breaking it down into acts and individual scenes. From there, we go to outline, then script. If the director is presented with a fairly complicated bit of choreography, he may story board the sequence – like Andy Mikita did in Awakening.

Cue Twilight Zone music.

this reminds me of "Inception"

The Destiny has a pilot, like Moya. And it's a CG character. Rush finds the bridge, but it still doesn't give him 100% control over the ship, until he comes upon references to the pilot and awakens it. Mallozzi has confirmed this to me.

HOLY SH.... Just read the description for this episode and WOOOWW...
REEAL SPOILER so watch out...

The crew encounters a ship, similar in ancient design to Destiny, which may provide the means to return to Earth.

"The Destiny is set on a collision course with a ship of similar ancient design found floating in space. Panic turns to wonder as the ships dock with each other. With data streaming in they learn they have come upon one of the Stargate seeding ships that the Ancients sent out ahead of the Destiny.

"Col. Young dispatches a team to investigate while setting Dr. Rush and Eli to analyze the flood of new data. Once aboard the Seeder Ship, Lt. Scott and his team discover that it might hold the energy to power the Stargate for a connection back to Earth.

"Realizing this might be the key to getting home Col. Telford convinces Young to let him join the team aboard the mysterious ship. But just as the energy transfer is underway they discover there’s more aboard the ship than just power."

Im going to go with the aliens, just seems plausible now, especially with the "best VFX we have done on SGU to date" from Mallozzi's blog...

although in the trailer there is a part where franklin is standing by Rush, could have just been old footage from Season 1, but i'm curious... check the Gateworld screencaps to see it

Wouldn't it be great if they found out each seeder ship has its own nine chevron encoded gate?

So my bet on what's going to happen is, if the ship they meet looks almost identical to the Destiny, I figure that there will be more out there, and once all those gate ships are combined, they will form a giant universe stargate that will allow destiny to gate back home. Destiny looks a lot like a chevron, and it could be that seeder ships are similar.

I'm really curious to see why Destiny has caught up with a Seeder ship. It could be routine and happen from time to time, like a maintenance check or something. The problem is, since we have caught up do you think there are more Stargates seeded beyond this stop?

Yeah, I'm wondering about that, too. We don't know how many of them there are. Maybe there were other Seeder ships in that galaxy as well, if the number is high enough.
I don't believe it is a planned stop. My guess is, the new aliens on board have something to do with it. Although the fact that Destiny immediately initiated a docking maneuver suggests that it may have been planned that Destiny catches up with the Seeder ships at some point.

Something to do with the boogers and their pods sucking power. It was always said it would be HIGHLY unlikely Destiny would catch up to one, so it's definitely broken down.

Damn them boogers!

There is something in Joe M.'s blog today, which will no doubt be posted in due course. I think the seeder ship is damaged in some way or else it would be far far ahead.

Yes but with their luck it's the Grand Prince Duke of the Boogermen Empire. The last thing they need is the entire Boogermen Imperial Aramada coming after them. ;)
