    Wraithattack?

    "The crew were hiding under the scope of the shield, watching energy pulses meet the night shields, creating an orange, beatiful yet dangerous sky".

    I cannot find the episode in which was it showed, can you?

    There are only a few episodes in which the Atlantis shield was used.

    I think it might be "The Siege part 3"

    in that episode, they had the shield up for an extended amount of time well the Wraith attacked.

        I watched it carefully but quickly. We were all wrong!

        The darts were kamikazying Atlantis, but we talk about projectiles hitting shields hard and bright for many days, so no clue ?

          It's definitely the siege pt3. When the second wave of around 10 hives bombard the shield from orbit causing a fiery glow over its surface.
