Celebrities Confirmed for January Sports Invitational in Banff

Banff (AB), Canada (Thursday, December 23, 2004) - Hollywood stars
Meg Ryan and Alec Baldwin will join Robert F. Kennedy Jr. and Mary
Richard Kennedy, who are again hosting the Fairmont Banff Springs
Celebrity Sports Invitational fund-raising event in Banff from
January 6 through 9. Expected to attract more than 50 sport, film and
television stars, events will take place at The Fairmont Banff
Springs and on the slopes of Sunshine Village.

The early roster of celebrities scheduled to participate include
Woody Harrelson, Richard Dean Anderson, Corbin Bernsen, Fran
Drescher, Mark Feuerstein, Peter Fonda, Marcia Gay Harden, Anne
Hearst, Amanda Hearst, Kevin Lowe, Brian Orser, Joe Pantoliano, Jason
Priestley, William Shatner, Camryn Manheim, Carrie Fisher and Treat
    Williams.

At Sunshine, stars will compete in a variety of events within easy
public viewing, including snowshoeing and alpine ski racing and at
The Fairmont Banff Springs they will mingle with guests at a Saturday
night gala featuring the music of Kenny Loggins and Vertical Tango, a
special program from Cirque du Soleil. Tickets for the fund-raising
event that supports Kennedy's environmental organization, Waterkeeper
    Alliance, are now on sale.

"Skiers at Sunshine last year had almost unbelievable opportunities
to get close to some of the world's biggest stars while watching them
intensely compete in fun-filled events," said Ralph Scurfield,
President and Chief Executive Officer of Sunshine Village. "It was
such a great experience for everyone, Hollywood can't wait to return
and we can't wait to again show them the magic of some of the
    greatest skiing on earth."

Ted Kissane, General Manager of The Fairmont Banff Springs and
Regional Vice President is likewise enthusiastic about the 2005
event. "We are delighted to host the Sports Invitational again.
Waterkeeper Alliance is an exceptional organization and it is an
honor to partner with them on this world-class event. Our intent is
to make this event the best ever!"

Tickets to this gala evening with the stars –- which features a live
and silent auction -- are available at $325 per person.
Exclusive "Gold Circle" tables are available for $8,500 and include a
celebrity and their guest seated at the table, located in a premium
location. For questions or to book tickets, contact the Royal Service
    department at 403-762-6860.

If you mean President George W. Bush, he is only 5 feet and 11 3/4 inches tall.

Richard Dean Anderson is 6 feet 2 inches tall.

So, yes, more celebrity, you pay more.

For RDA, you pay $114.86 per inch.

        For George W., at 5 11 3/4...that's about $8,241.21

It's all a matter of economics...supply and demand.

I wonder if you get to pick your celebrity?

Sounds like you pay your $8,500 and take your chances. Just think - you could end up with Jason Priestley or Mark Feuerstein (who's that?).
