I like this movie
As the movie says the phantoms were the ghosts of the aliens from that other planet which became a meteor that hit the Earth...
And when they attack people the blue things are people's spirits being pulled out of their bodies.
Is that right so far?
Also they have found the technology to power weapons and machines with living spirit energy..
So within the world of the movie science has embraced the fact that spirits can exist...
Would this be a logical deduction to make from the film?
Also if you have a film like this where science has proven the existence of spirits can you ignore the other implications of that viewpoint. Then that means the "god question" would need to be held open to research too. In the context of a world like this movie that is.
