Help with story summary

I've just about finished writing a fanfic that I've been posting bit by bit. I've never liked the summary I came up with and was wondering if someone out there would be a dear and help me out. The challange is that I don't want _too_ much to come out in the summary, but I don't think that what I currently have is very good. Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!

a visitor from another time and place......

whatever she does.

leads them on a mission, warns them of an impending danger, something like that
